Here is where orbital Clique devices are launched from once they are assembled. A tunnel over a mile long that faces directly up, with an observation room and a secure elevator leading down from it. Inside the observation room is a transporter, and all state of the art Clique technology. The launch tunnel has blast doors at one end to let the spaceships take off, and exhaust vents at the bottom to prevent the heat from building up and melting the fuselage. Transporter emitters run up the length of the tunnel, so that the assembled spaceship can be beamed in, to avoid making it a target for enemy attack. A Protection shield surrounds the complex, making it undetectable and impervious to attack while the silo is not being used.

A shuttle containing parts for an orbital station appears. Nuge stands in the control tower wearin a spacesuit.

Nuge takes the elevator to the bottom of the pad, followed by a few scientists.
They climb a ladder and take a gangway into a port on the side of the rocket.
They strap themselves into the craft and flick some switches.
Lights come on.
Things beep.
The rocket shudders....................................................
