h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

No one (to my eternal regret) seems to say Huzzah! anymore.
I have looked at films where Huzzah!ing has occured, and discovered that in foreign subtitles it is inaccurately translated as hurrah.

This would make a very good theme for a radio 4 documentary - Whither Huzzah?

It could be an informal battle cry or something. That and "Erradicate the scum!", which, until now, has worked well for me.

My favourite battle cry has always been "Die alein scumm!!!!!"
I use this in my eternal fight against astroturf, my sworn enemy.

I find a good, Dalek-y "EX-TER-MIN-AAATE!" works sometimes too.

Or Pingu's infinitely more menacing "boop broop boop boop BOOP!"

I beg to differ. Bill (of "Bill and Ben, the Flowerpot Men" fame) has a constant threat of "Blooble-obble-ee-obble-obb*" which scares me greatly.


*Translation: "The hatchet concealed in my flowerpot could be applied to some of the softer parts of your anatomy, much to your personal discomfort"
