Concerning London Meets

Hypatia

It seems to me like 2legs, Mazin' and the other regulars are doing a good job organizing the meets. I might be wrong, but I suspect that the community has more input that they would if it was organized by the BBC. But souvenirs and prizes purchased by them would be nice, as would someone from the staff to greet newcomers.

2legs - Hey, babe, take a walk on the wild side...

It was very unusual this time round that we didn't have the Italic presence throughout the meet; Jimster Explained that it was all down to a mess up regarding the dates and he was thinking he could attend but for a previously arranged engagement he couldn't get out of Hopefully next meet will be a better date for the Italics to be able to attend, smiley - magicsmiley - grovel

>>Erm...a small point-ette, but if we're going to have an experimental October meet, around about now is when we need to decide on a date so people can book flights, travel, holiday etc.<<

I am happy to do that if required, and can smiley - thepost a number of dates for voting.

Say, the last two weeks of September and all of October. However I know that 2Legs normally does this but will be happy to help out...

Over to you!

I'm easy. Just want to assist as many in

a) Voting.
b) Attending
c) Not feeling included re: dates

BTW do I need to consider excluding/including dates re: School Holidays? Not having Rugrats myself, I don't know when holidays fall...

Saves me getting off my **** and doing it.

Anyway, I'll start searching out ideas for the afternoon activities with a few that are Rugrat friendly, and some that are more adult orientated. For those that prefer a more liquid afternoon event I'll leave that in the capable hands of our resident experts 2Legs, Roymodo, Serephina and possibly RF!

That should cover all eventualities then!

Unless I've forgotten anything...

I can't count...but I shall employ a totally impartial pet hamster to ensure that the voting is fair.

I may also involve the Electoral Reform Society.
