I've just been watching a programme on TV listing all those celebrities/personalities who died in 2002.

Apparently, Spike Milligan's chosen epitaph was "I told you I was ill."

Perhaps you have chosen your own epitaph, or have heard a good one from somewhere...do share it!

OT..1st.. there will be a lot more choosing that epitaph due to the present state of health care! now one here is one 4 the Now I lay me down to sleep, a bag of peanuts at my feet, If I should die before I wake. You will know I died of a stomach ache *must of been all those peanut M&M's*

Lord Byron wrote this one for Castlereagh:

I rather like; "thanks for the memories"

Now you mention it, I *did* notice a rather smart one down the local cemetary. Can't for the life of me remember it anymore, though, so it can't have been that great.

My favourate programme ever, probably.... I got all the videos a few years back, and just watched them so much, that I've given them a bit of a rest recently; so I can watch them again, at some point, and appreciate them more

In little tiny script, in the middle of his headstone so you have to walk right up to read it;
