The wrong side of 50, married with one daughter (AKA H2G2er Jane Pyecruste) and two stepsons, and in Government service for more than 25 years (with medals to prove it.) Interested in most things except sport, tireless campaigner for the use of brown ink, and author of the perpetually unpublished "Middenshire Chronicles," a trewe historie of ye smallest countie of England.
