A Conversation for Planet Odyssey
Air Strip

*The Air Strip. Modelled after the air-strips required by planes, this strip of pavement in the middle of a desert is long enough to accomodate nearly any space or air-going vessel. A tunnel is located at the end of the airstrip, theoretically leading to the massive fortress located not too far away*
*AA5's ship bursts out of hyperspace, and enters Planet Odyssey's atmosphere, looking over the world that he has created*
AA5-Ah....perfect. Evil, malevolent, and full of nasty little surprises. Let's see if they can get through my security systems....
*AA5 lands his ship at an airstrip and gets out. The ship materializes from view, probably being taken to a hidden hangar somewhere. Whistling to himself, AA5 enters the long tunnel, dissapearing from sight*

[The Bug comes out of hyperspace.]
[Yar] -- /is/ from a different dimension entirely, so ...

Dizzy H. Muffin Posted Sep 11, 2004
[Yar] Ah, right. But if we assume that he /is/ intending to destroy this universe, the idea that he can watch this universe's destruction from the safety of his /home/ universe makes sense. [shrugs] Just saying.

*Looks out the cockpit window of Ray's ship.*
Now where are we?
Air Strip
Dizzy H. Muffin Posted Sep 11, 2004
[Corrigible] Hmm ... Sorry, but the most specific I can get is, "we're in Ray's ship." I'm just following after KL, after all.

Burford Solo Posted Sep 12, 2004
*Burford is looking out the window. He turns to YK.*
Burford: There's an airstrip over there. It appears deserted. Maybe we should land there.
Air Strip
Scandrea Posted Sep 12, 2004
Looks completely dead down there- I can't see anything going on, not even that other ship.
Are you sure this is the right place?
Air Strip
Dizzy H. Muffin Posted Sep 13, 2004
[Ray's ship]
[Corrigible] No. I'm just following KL's lead. Still, I have a bad feeling about this ...™
[Millenium Bug]
[Yar] Hmm ... I sense /some/ kind of danger. I think we should land here somewhere less obvious. [looks around] Hmm ... can't think of any other place around here that doesn't give me a /worse/ feeling.

Well, that ship we were following came out of hyperspace right here, so the only place it could have gone is down there. It must be cloaked now, or in some hidden hangar somewhere. The only way for us to find out is to go down there ourselves.

Dizzy H. Muffin Posted Sep 13, 2004
[Yar] Eh, sure, why not.
[The two ships land.]
[Yar] [to KL] You go first.

Afgncaap5 Posted Sep 13, 2004
*KL jumps out, claws ready....feels a bit let down by the absence of anyone to fight*
KL-Hmmmm....perhaps this passage heads our way....

Dizzy H. Muffin Posted Sep 13, 2004
[Corrigible] [exiting Ray's ship] You're the boss. [follows after KL]
[Yar] [also following] Yeah, sure, whatever.
[As Joseph exits the Bug, Laguna leaps forward and glomps him.]
[Laguna] JO!!1!!1!111 UR ALIEV!!!?!!?!!!11!111
[Joseph] WAUGH! NOT YOU!!
[He shoves Laguna away. A wrecking ball appears out of nowhere and knocks Laguna away.]
[Laguna] 0W1!1!1!!!
[Yar] ... So, you didn't disable the Improbability Generator?
[Corrigible] ... Nope.

Scandrea Posted Sep 14, 2004
*Exits Ray's ship, and winces as the wrecking ball hits Laguna.*
Krylma Leader... Lizardy bits on a shelf somewhere my eye! </>
*Looks around at the desolate surroundings.*
Well, what else am I going to do?
*Follows*

KL-*To Scandrea* I have good ears. And I'm not a lizard.
Archimedes-*Looking at the tunnel* I'd suggest stealth, but there's not much in the way of cover....

Scandrea Posted Sep 14, 2004
*winces.*
Maybe Yar and Corrigible could use the Force to hide us?

Burford Solo Posted Sep 14, 2004
*Burford thinks he hears very faint ghostly noises, but quickly dismisses the thought.*
