[Yar hmms, looking around, still using his danger sense (which can still detect danger to himself).]

*Still talking to Joseph.*
So you're the illustrious Joe, huh?
Boy, do I feel sorry for you! </>

*KL and Archimedes bring up the rear. The passage gradually transitions from being a simple one to a fancy looking hallway with a red carpet, and cheerful light fixtures on either side of the passage. Mozart playing can be heard. Still no doors yet, however*

*Out of habit, wipes her feet before stepping onto the red carpet, and takes off her hat.*
Very stra-
*Glances at Woogy and drops that train of thought.*

Afgncaap5 Posted Oct 6, 2004
*Continuing on, the passage remains entirely the same for a while, except for the fact that the music switches from Mozart to Handel*

[Woogy hums along, precisely a flattened fifth out of tune. Yar rolls his eyes, but takes no notice.]

Afgncaap5 Posted Oct 7, 2004
*For some reason, the next music to play is "Theme From Jaws"*
Air Strip
Scandrea Posted Oct 7, 2004
OK- if that's not a musical cue I don't know what is!
*Stands with her back to the rest of the party, cheffinator at the ready.*
Air Strip
Afgncaap5 Posted Oct 7, 2004
*After a few more paces, the music changes to "Celebrate!" by Kool and the Gang*
Air Strip
Scandrea Posted Oct 7, 2004
Someone has very strange musical tastes...
*Takes it all in stride, glancing around for the speakers as she walks.*
Air Strip
Burford Solo Posted Oct 7, 2004
*Ignores the music*
Me, I never worry until I hear "Ride of the Valkyries".

Afgncaap5 Posted Oct 8, 2004
*The theme from "Casino Royale" begins to play just as the party comes within site of a revolving door. Before they can progress any further, Custscene drops from the ceiling*
Cutscene-Just so you know, The Casino's coming up. You can either fight through, or you can play through. Depends on if you're feeling lucky or not, I guess.
*Without waiting for a response, Cutscene jumps back towards the ceiling and dissapears into the darkness*

*Recalls her last trip to Vegas, where she lost the equivalent of a week's salary.*
Errr....
Air Strip
Scandrea Posted Oct 8, 2004
Well, let's see- in the past few threads I've been transported through at least three things that resemble universes, blown up, forced to listen to Leonard Nimoy sing, shot at, attacked by no less than a gazeebo, a platoon of what might have been Imperial Stormtroopers, and a nut job wielding light-scimitars. Am I feeling lucky? Not particularly!

Burford Solo Posted Oct 10, 2004
*Turns to KL.*
We could use that little robot of yours now. Wonder where he and Oreo got to.
*Decides to try playing through, but keeps his blaster in his hand just in case.*

Dizzy H. Muffin Posted Oct 10, 2004
[Yar] So, you'd rather fight, Scandrea?
[Corrigible] /I'm/ ready.
[Yar] /You/ heard that Cutscene guy. Force stuff won't work.

Scandrea Posted Oct 10, 2004
*Shrugs* I'll go along with whatever you guys want to do. If it's fight, I'll fight. If it's gamble...
*Digs in her pockets and comes out with two dimes, three quarters, and a washer.*
...I'll need to borrow some money.
