Thistle Howl - a frighteningly cute Critter of the Night

*Thistle ignores her jangling senses long enough to enjoy a sense of relief because A)Humpty Dumpty has managed to rescue himself from the Lake, B)Purr has managed to, mostly, rescue himself from the well, and C) Purr seems to have rescued Duckie from the well. It takes talant and dedication to the scene to end up in deep water here in the desert, and Thistle's grateful that Purr did it so she doesn't have to.
Now if she could just do something about these "Nothings" floating around...
Thistle resolves to do her best to be civilized about this.*

Excuse me, Granny? Sir? Er, Ma'm? Could you please move on? Or maybe even Move On? It's just that you are triggering all my primeaval instincts. Now, my subconscious is nicely socialized and normally well behaved, but...Gee, could you just go away, please?

Wolfgang and Houndstooth

Enters from stage left, his western shirt tucked neatly into his Calvin Kleins, string tie flapping, black hat in hand and spurs shiny and jingling on hos new snakeskin boots.

This is as unkempt a cast as I've ever encountered. The best looking one in the bunch is the smiley - cat, and she's wet! I can't believe I joined SAG for this.

Removes clean handkerchief, perfectly folded, and gently brushes the dust off of a wooden chair in the corner. Notices too late that he's stepped in melted chocolate. At least he hopes it's chocolate.

Ye gods! What a horrible place.

Is that mangy animal male or female?

I could probably arrange a flea collar for it for a small fee.

Thistle Howl - a frighteningly cute Critter of the Night

Oh, I am soooo not in the mood for this!

*clearly, the Nothings aren't going to be nice about this (and she refuses to resort to barking at them!). Thistle decides to deal with an annoyance that can't just ignore her. She brushes her hair bow out of her eyes with a defiant gesture, then stomps over to the Despicable Dandy.*

Mister, you are a total Poopie Head.

*Thistle kicks the Dandy in the shins.*

Looks disdanefully at the group while emptying his boot.

Just what I would expect from smelly, ill mannered oafs. smiley - bruised But not to worry. I've dealt with the likes of you before.

The sound of horses hooves can be heard in the distance.

Ladies, gentlemen, *sighs deeply* whatever you are, I believe the chuck wagon I hired is approaching. If I were not sitting in filth with a wet boot and a bruised shin, I might have been inclined to share the bounty. For a small fee, of course.

Purr in Boots

smiley - cat
[Purr] (mutters) "Male orr ffemale", indeed! Obvioussly not a pet perrson, as any "oaff" would be able to tell by the cut of maiy clothing that Ai am a Tom-cat! Oh, if Rroberrt Loggia had thiss parrt, SSOMEone would be drraged off the sset without hiss bootss on! RrrrRRrrrr...

**Still tense with the unconscionable slighting by Dandy Dan, Purr pulls himself out of the Well and starts wringing out the loose portions of his costume. He is about to pour the water from his boots back into the Well, then checks his public decorum, and pours it onto a nearby cactus. He looks over his shoulder and flashes a particularly feral grin at Dan, making sure to show his very sharp teeth...all the way to the back.**

Thistle Howl - a frighteningly cute Critter of the Night

*she still doesn't understand what the Dandy's problem is; from her point of view she and Cinders are the best dressed characters. On the other hand (brushes soaked hair bow out of eyes again) Ourr might have been on the right track with wringing things out. She'd feel more...human, if she were a bit drier.*

Excuse me a minute.

*She goes behind a very large rock. After a moment there is the rustle of clothing, then the sound of water splashing on the sand.*

No peeking! I mean it!!

Post 79

Wolfgang and Houndstooth

My god! Like anyone would want to look! Unless you can work magic behind that rock, you're wasting your time.

Wanders outside to oversee the arrival of the chuck wagon.

Some civilized food and a good glass of wine should make this place more habitable. I wonder if any of the others are hungry? I'm sure I could find something for them to do in exchange for the feast. There should be an added incentive when they see who's inside the wagon doing the cooking. smiley - biggrin

Are any of you, erm, folks tires of kibbbles, yet?
