**Purr turns his attention from Cinders (for the moment) and shakes his head regarding B4's impersonation. Then, kneeling beside Cinders, his arms splayed wide in order to better emote, he sings out--**

Lounging in the Garrden is ssomething we may sskip.
It’s time to sstand up on ourr Legs
And sscale the windy heights,
Because we’ve got anotherr quesst imporrtant to ourr trrip--
To find all of Ma Goose’s Eggs,
And ssee the otherr ssights.

Along the way we can dance and loudly ssing
To lighten all ourr cares;
But lesst you musst enquirre,
Go grrab the nearrest hand, or paw, or wing,
Or hoof it to the stairs,
To the top of HoHo Sspirre!

**He then elbows Cinders, looks for any other Cast members to drag along, then begins to walk to the stairs up to HoHo Spire. As he reaches the tunnel in the sheer rock face, he glances to the right and longingly recalls his dip in the Rainbow Fountain. He hesitates only for a moment before disappearing up the stairway.**

Hang on Purr. The mice have got another idea.

(B4 whips out a pet whistle, the kind a person can tweet like mad and no one will hear, except your pet, and gives it all he's got)

*red eyes glowing in the dark tunnel*

**Purr pokes his head back out of the tunnel leading up to HoHo Spire.**

[Purr] Yesss?! Yeou rrang?

**He looks at the caption balloon over Amy the 's antennae, slumps his shoulders, and shambles back onto the Contrary Garden set.**

[Purr] Ffigurres Ai would get contrrarry ssignalss and sstarrt off too ssoon...

**He makes his way back to an area where little buttercups are growing and, much like Gene Wilder in a favorite film, pulls one loose and drinks a tiny refreshing sip from it. He bides his time while awaiting the 's next performance.**

*leafs through her notes*

Ah - yes - this is the egg that will feel oddly familiar to me!

*drags her gaze away from the silver cockleshells, that have all the appearances of being sterling silver. But getting her eyeglass out to read the hallmarks may lead to suspicion*

Another egg? I hadn't noticed that one.

[LMM} *to Gladys* That was my line AND you said it too early. *does a Miss Piggy hair flick* Amateurs!

*returns from lobby with fresh cherry coke and sugared almonds, looking extremely smug*

*glares into audience at B4*

You just stop that right now! Put that wistle away or I'll take it from you, and I won't be held responsible for the safety of your fingers!

*this threat, growls and bartred fangs and all, is somewhat mitigated by the fact that Thistle is realy cute when she's angry.*

Doesn't Thistle look cute when she's angry?

(Nevertheless, B4 stashes the Thistle...Oops!......whistle in his satchel, so as not to incur the wrath of grapes...Dang!......sour grapes...No!......Thistle's ire...Yeah. That's it!)

*winces at the sudden appearance of Duckie*

All here now? When are we going to start searching for the hidden egg?

**Purr takes the hint, reaches into his deep blue jerkin and pulls out a large magnifying glass. He turns toward the Audience and appears to have one VERY LARGE EYE peering out through the magnifying glass; it blinks several times as the scans the Audience.**

[Purr] Oh, look! Ai ssee Lil out there...and there's Amy ...and Caerwynn's in attendance...and even Mac's come along...

**He takes the magnifying glass away from his face--and his EYE is actually that VERY LARGE!!! Amidst the gasps and chuckles, he does a double-take, ducks his head under his arm (toward the back of the set), then turns around again with his 'normal' cat-like visage.**

[Purr] Sorry. Sorry! Ai jusst had to pull one ssight gag durring the prroduction...

*Side-steps the and leads the Stranger deeper into the garden.*

Just a little further, dear, and we'll be out of sight...Oh my! What's this? It looks like an enormous tye-dyed egg.

*Glances around.*

Well, it IS a nice secluded spot, isn't it? Let's just duck into this alcove with the egg, shall we?
