Right, apart from the /bug tag, there's also a /feedback tag

I'm currently waiting for to go to bed so we can get cracking - although Mr Vip is having problems logging in (he's lost email access and then reinstalled Windows, so ESO doesn't recognise his machine and only sends the activation code to his now-lost email address.
).
I've just hit level 10 so I might even consider heading out to the PvP area if I can figure out how. If not, I'm still enjoying bimbling around. I've found the next area but at level 16 it was a bit too much for me so I headed home.

Do try the PVP area, there's an intro quest that will give you some XP

Hmm, perhaps I was in thw wrong place, but the PvP area seemed completely empty. Some NPCs, a few level 50 monsters, but basically nobody there. I did the intro and the first Scouting mission and then left.
If you take on one of the bigger quests, where you're actually attacking somewhere, do you get a new instance where everyone else is playing, or have I just got unlucky? At the moment it feels solo, which is just .

As far as I saw in the videos about PvP it can be a long way from where to start to where the actual fight happens. I have no idea if you can see that on a map or anything.

I've dinged 16, found my way to Haven and *now I find level 10 quests in Skyhaven - darn, should have explored that city more!

That specific level 10 quest ended up being tougher than I thought, ending with a (elite) level 12 Troll that killed me a couple of times (at level 16) before I could get to it.
And yes, by now I like the game enough to have prebought it - and, as usual, the US security measures when it comes to credit card purchases are non-existant. Anyone getting hold of my card details could have purchased that. Hrmph!
In Sweden and, I think, several other European countries, you also need to stick the card into a code thingiemajick that will supply you with a control code. Yes, you need to have the actual physical card and the physical gadget to make a purchase.
During the London meets, I was surprised by the same lack of safety - I'd just swipe my card, no PIN code, no identity check.

I think we're lazy. I remember that several banks brought them in but the whole scheme was quietly dropped. Or I moved banks because I found it too annoying. Possibly both.
I have to do it with my business bank account, but not my personal ones.

'you do not need to delete your beta client or perform a new download and reinstall. If you have the live beta client, you can simply patch it up to the launch build starting on Thursday the 27th of March. We encourage you to patch up to the launch build early so you’re ready to go for Early Access or launch day!'

At £50 for the digital download ZeniMax Online can bleedin' well do one.

And no Steam support either.
It's almost like they don't want my time and money.
Still, I guess that means I get to finish projects and spend time with my loved ones instead of turning into a Falmer in the study!

That's all absolutely normal for MMOs.

Especially one I'm then also paying a monthly subscription to use.
I was really looking forward to playing ESO, but there's no way that £50 is coming out of my own pocket. I might put birthday (launch day) money towards it, but I have a gazillion and one other things I feel I'd rather spend £50 of my own money on.

Which all sounds terribly bitter... I've no problem with the monthly sub, but £50 for a game is just silly. Especially given that there's no reduction in price for buying digital only, which flies in the face of pretty much every other type of entertainment that has both physical and digital versions.
