Need to listen to my winged twilight a bit more - she *did warn me about running into an area of level 17 mobs and me at level 14...

This is not fair - trying to get to a level 15 quest destination, at level 14, running into level 20 mobs on the way...

How did you pick one up, Ti? I have my trophy monkey for participating in the beta, but obviously that doesn't actually *do* anything.

Yup, mage companion.

At my current level (15) I do a long zap and a short zap and then focus on the next mob while my Honeypie finishes the first one. Yes, I'm calling her Honeypie because of her happy humming.

And I just found out (because of observing a guy in a local bank and asking him straight out) that, as a mage, you can have up to three active compaions.

I'm going to cause mayhem and havoc with this newly found knowledge - mwahahaaaa!

Holy crap, Mannimarco was a Psijic but got cast out because of his evil deeds? And I'm going to face him?

Phew, some high-and-might-full-of-his-own-importance-captain refused me to enter.

Just as well, I doubt I'm ready to face Mannimarco at level 15...

The North American megaserver is down for maintenance - at 11.55 pm EDT. Late Saturday night, which is probably one of the busiest times gamewise. A very odd time to take the server down, I think. Makes it seem urgent and unplanned, especially since I can't find it announced in the forums.

The latest patch v1.0.3 contains, among other things, this:

Finally! I didn't manage to kill her until I was 5 levels above her and could set both my Unstable Familiar and Winged Twilight to attack her as well as the occasional Storm Atronach while I ran around like crazy, dodging her attacks, reinforcing my protective Lightning Form whenever I could and zapping those orbs she kept sending out.

The gold spammers on the NA server are really a pain in the - after reporting/ignoring around a dozen of them within 10 minutes, I gave up and created a new chat tab, exluding zone chat.

Not to mention the response time of the ingame support - if I'm lucky, I'll get an e-mail a couple of hours after I've stopped playing - a couple of hours after reporting the bug.

Having finally managed to pin down the Mostly Harmless guild on the NA megaserver, I'm a bit disappointed, as they seem to focus on 'competitive gaming' and their site is full of announcements for PVP events.

That was not how I pictured it. It seems they just picked a name that sounded cool, without having much insight in the origin of the expression. Bah.

Finally an Elder Scrolls moment: sunrise over Ash Mountain. Beautiful and - best of all - I'm almost alone out here, so no gold spammer in zone chat, no lag...

Now we're talking - making decisions that will, no doubt, have an effect on my character. Just saved a man from execution, but he wasn't too happy about it.

The higher level of my main character, the more importance these decisions seem to hold.

Joined my first guild today (well, except for my own) and despite spelling my account name teatania, the guild leader (an English teacher, or so he claims) immediately regonized the reference. This might turn out to be an interesting experience.

I guess I've told you before how much I love having a humming minion. She hums when she's bored, she hums right after helping me kill and she hums at times I haven't figured out yet.

Oh yeah, and she does some mean dps - mobs tend to take her out before me. Once she's out, I'm smoked.

Unscheduled maintenance on the EU server - the regular maintenance shouldn't be happening until tomorrow (Tuesdays) but at 6 am today (my time) they took it down, announcing it only 2½ hour before. On a bank holiday. Thanks a lot, Zenimax.
