I have a few of those. I've also been reporting bots camping bosses, which is bloody annoying because they often kill the boss before I've got a hit in.

There have been fewer that I've seen recently, either it's getting better or this zone is better.

I found out that you can reset your skill points, so I had my level 9 sourcerer (on the EU server) travel all the way to Mournhold in Deshaan, where she got to talk to Almalexia, one of the gods

She was nice enough, but got a bit tetchy when I asked her about the magical light she gave me - never question a gift from a god...

Oh, and to clarify, talking to Almalexia was part of a quest I picked up on the way - the resetting of skills is done at one of three shrines in the city.

I'm not sure if me going 'meh' on ESO is due to overplaying it (as I tend to do at times when I have too much time) or due to being fed up with the gold spammers, so much so that my inbox is empty.

I'll be d*mned if I'm going to act as a watch dog any more, in a game I'm paying for. I've created a 'no zone' chat tab so from now on, I'll only be reporting the spammers that mail me ingame.

So.... yesterday morning (April 30th) the EU server went down for a regular maintenance...

...and this morning (May 1st, a bank holiday) it's going down again, to apply a patch?

They really do have a knack for taking the server down during prime gaming time, don't they? Last time, it was during Easter.

I've run into two female NPCs lately that are rather secretive, and one of them is wearing a masque. I think I might have run into either the Thieves' Guild or the Dark Brotherhood - or one of each, not sure.

I chose to steal some weapons to allow some villagers to help me with a quest, rather than proclaiming myself high and mighty enough to deal with it myself, thus deeming them as worthless, from a fighter's point of view.

Also, I've been attacked by assassins lately, who've appeared out of nothing right behind my back. No clues on their bodys as to who set them up for it though.

Don't trust the goddess Almalexia, she'll lead you into a merry dance. At level 18, she had me kill a level 21 über mage.

I only died once though. Learn to cook folks, learn to cook. I downed magic regenerating drinks in order to beat him - and it was still a close call who'd die first.

I came across my first bot - a character who tried to get up to a ruin platform but just kept running into the surrounding wall at ground level, jumping, running, jumping, all the while being hit by various hostile NPCs. Seeing that the character's name looked exactly like a gold spammer's is what made me report it.

Found a book titled 'Reality and other falsehoods' I always knew this thing we call RL was imaginery...

I got rid of Zone chat too and I'm a lot happier for it. I've also found a guild that I like; basically they will happily chatter away, give solid advice when asked, share their stuff and although occasionally they get a bit juvenile it's never nasty and they genuinely seem like nice people. I quite happily donate stuff because I know that others do it too.

I've left two that told me off for daring to try to chat offtopic rather than just trade.

There was an instance message that came through on Mr Vip's game last night where a real person had come online with the sole mission of squashing bots and was asking for reports. I didn't get one (we play solo, I don't get to play as often as he does), but it was good to know that they are trying.

I think it's a problem they are aware of and are getting better at dealing with, it's just a shame they couldn't have looked it up before hand.

I was checking unexplored patches of the map when I ran into a low level area with some undone quests.

In the area, I also come across a cave and went in to investigate it. Some level 14 mobs (my EU server sorcerer is now level 21) and a level 14 elite ghost at the end.

That killed me with one crit-hit - over and over again until I decided to leave it alone until I've levelled a bit more.

I always knew Sheogorath was mad as a hatter, but having me kill off kings and queens in one of his mad theatre plays?

I think I botched another chance of getting into the Thieves' Guild - I chose 'the right thing to do' rather than 'look the other way and make a bit of money'.

After reporting a mail gold spammer and adding the account name to my ignore list, I noticed my list had shrunk quite a bit, which most likely means the accounts no longer exist. About time - but I'm a bit disappointed it took them this long to ban the accounts - more than a month?
