Mr D, the game only crashed (a lot) on me during my first Beta test (the first stress test, as far as I know), during the next one (the latest one) it only crashed once and I think that was more due to my PC than the game itself.

Ti, I wish I were so lucky... I got maybe two-and-a-half hours of in-game time over two beta weekends due to all the crashes. None of the things suggesed on the forum helped (running windowed, updating drivers, launching game directly as admin). A right pain in the backside!

I'm going to semi-rebuild my PC over the next few months anyway... new 'board, new hard drive, and so on. Keeping my graphics card though as that's only as old as Skyrim.

Less than one hour left!

Friday evening so far: laggy as but no crashes. Finally managed to beat a boss (with no hint in the quest log about it being a boss) with the help of two other players.

I don't like the repair costs though - I'm trying to save up for a horse for Bob's sake!

Apparently the issues with DirectX 9 have been upgraded from 'bit of a problem' to 'game probably won't work'.

So that's me out until they either fix it or I get a Windoze upgrade.

Well, I upgraded from Win XP to Win 7 before I learnt that Micro$**t postponed their withdrawal of supporting XP.

As a result, my PC is running much faster - it's aslmost like having a new one. I think I might have had a few drivers that hadn't been updated for a while.

Stupid internet broke last night, and I've got to work today, so haven't had a chance to play it yet, other than about 30 mins.

Leveling my mage mainly soloing is very slow business - I hope she's not sharing XP with her clannfear!

I'll see if it makes any difference leveling without a pet.

It didn't make much difference leveling without a pet - 3 hours of killing level 11 mobs until my sorcerer finally dinged 11 herself.

I think I need to start selling off some of the crafting mats I've gathered - I can rarely use them myself.

I've also been asking around for the guild Mostly Harmless - no replies so far.

Doshia's Lair

I still can't solo her at level 11, and every single time I've tried joining a group, the group has been bugged, as if all of us entered different instances, with nobody being able to see the others.

Still, grouping up functioned in the Veiled Keep, so I guess it's the Lair that's bugged.

I'm noticing a lot of first time players this weekend with questions like 'where's the banker?', 'how do I craft?' and other very simple questions which, to me, seem to indicate they are kids too impatient to run around and find out for themselves. That was certainly not the questions I was asking during my first Beta session.

I went exploring instead, and I've talked to I don't know how many NPCs. But then, I've always enjoyed exploring.

Managed to get two bugged quests compleed so far this weekend; Malanie and the frog race. They seem to work a bit on and off, on and off, so be sure to check back every once in a while if you can't get them to work.

Hmph - decided to check out the pvp system, got into an area in Cyrodil and started on the introductory quests, only to have the game crash on me when trying to use a trebuchet.

And now I can't get back in due to 'Error: An unknown error has occurred'.

Several times. Even when waiting for a couple of minutes. Even after restarting my PC.

Hmph!

Plenty of idiots and drunkards online this early (6.50 am) - if any of you know how to use a repair kit on a siege engine, please do tell, I'm getting no sensible answers ingame.

I hope you are writing bug reports for all your problems because that's what Beta tests are for: they need people to write reports.
