I have PartitionMagic on one hard drive as I'm running ME (shows how old my PC is 
) on the larger, gaming, portion and NT for w*rk on the remaining portion.
The second hard drive is huge, unpartitioned for editing dvd tapes.
I think T posted messages just warning members that if they wanted to be aware of any new threads to subscribe to the list, Nerd42, because this corner of hootoo went very quiet for a while.

Oh yes - that - I noticed that some researchers who had applied to become members of this club didn't have any of the current conversations showing on their list of conversations - that's why I thougth I'd remind them to subscribe to new conversations...
I just thought that if you'd be interested enough in RPGs to become a member, you might also be interested in joining the discussions!

For Crimble I got a new motherboard, graphics card, more memory and processor. Once it was all installed and talking to each other, H gave me Lionheart.
Not a bad game at all, based on the Fallout engine, it isn't as pretty as the BG series or NWN, but once you've got the hang of dealing with the rather difficult fights, not a bad game at all.
I have also treated myself to the new Broken Sword game, No1 son is playing that and says it is good and quite funny.
On the BG front, Interplay have shut Black Isle down, if you didn't already know that. There is a second BG game coming out for the PS2, but otherwise it is curtains for the TOSC series, sadly. Bad news for RPG fans and we shall be hard pressed to find such good games.

I got "The Temple of Elemental Evil" for Xmas.
It's okay, I've barely started, but there are certain really annoying things abotu it. like the fact the the cursor is absolutely terrible, it drags, skips, slows and speeds up, and is generalyl inaccurate.

Just to be technical, officially Black Isle hasn't been shut down (yet) but it does seem to be going that way...
It's even worse because they were actually working on a Baldur's Gate 3 (whether on computer or Playstation I don't know), of course that was cancelled anyway (I think) because they couldn't get the RPG rights or some such.
*sigh* I'll never get to play a new Baldur's Gate game *sigh*
Oh well (*sigh*)

Do you like the neverwinter nights line of games?
I really thought nwn was incredibly boring.
It's so much better when you have 6 peopel, walking around, without the waky camera views that screw everything up, they should just keep it simple.
The camera views, that's the worst thing. nd the fact that you only get two people, and that they use the same set of buildings for every town, dungeon, and city in the game, and the fact that the plot is realy boring, and that there aren't enough monsters, and that it gets tedious, and, and, and, and

NWN got great reviews and all, as high as BG, I think, but it's really crap. Yesterday I was looking through the ratings on gamespot, I think it was... BG got a 9.2, Ithink, and so did NWN and the Temple of EE, which I'm playing now. Funny now, they're both sort of crap. but at least SoA got 9.5 and ToB got a 9.7(at least on the user's ratings), the highest I saw anywhere...
