yes final fantasy five - ff always stands for either Fanasy Football or Final Fantasy, but this being an RPG club, i'd think ff would always stand for final fantasy.

wow! I just discovered FFHackster and later toady i'm going to try FFHackster Companion. These are utilities for editing a Final Fantasy I rom (on the NES) you can change /ANYTHING/ you want to make it completely your own game!
I'm going to try producing "First Fantasy", which will be a hack of FF1, only all the dialouge is re-written to be the converse or what was originally said, like, "DARK WEAKLINGS! Please DON'T save the Princess!"
Maybe someday I'll be good enough to work on another idea I have, "The Hitchhiker's Guide to Final Fantasy" which follows the story of the first HHGG book using the final fantasy one engine, where
Fighter = Aurthur
Thief = Ford
Marshal Artist = Zaphod
White Mage = Trillian
Black Mage = Marvin
Red Mage = any ideas? Nerd42

I could get "Mostly Harmless" down from the wall, but I can't be botherd. The guy who insults everyone in the entire universe becuase he is imortal and can't figure out what else to do whould be nice to fit in. The red mage could always be Slartibartfast

The Reincarnating Dead Guy can't be used because he wasn't in the first Hitchhiker book.

agrajag could be a boss. hehehe. slatty definately fits the bill to be the Red Mage.
i just decided i'll wait on the hitchhiker game until somebody makes FF3Hackster. Heard somebody out there was working on it....
another funny thing I did with rom hacking was changing "Super Mario Bros 1" to "Stuper Clinton Bros" with BILL and ALGORE instead of mario and luigi, bill looks like mario only in a suit, these texts were rewritten:
"WELCOME TO WARP ZONE" = "HEY BILL ITS MONICA"
"THANK YOU MARIO" "THANK YOU LUIGI" = "THANKS CLINTON" "THANKS ALGORE"
"BUT OUT PRINCESS IS IN ANOTHER CASTLE" = "BUT HILLARY IS IN ANOTHER CASTLE"

I don't think it would. But I have a question about Baldur's Gate. (What's that? The master has a question?) Well it's true (DUN, DUN, DUN...). At Gamefaqs I heard a rumor (figuratively of course) that there was a Baldur's Gate 3, I suspect that this isn't a company produced game but is really just another thing fans have created and put on the internet. However while the dialog in that Conversation suggested that those people had actually played it I don't know where to look. Anybody got a hint?

Thanks for the link T, but they don't have it (of course they don't BG2 either). However I wasn't expecting to find it there anyway; as I said: I think it's one of the free download expansion things like at Forgottenwars. Anybody else?
