The Lounge isn't available in the older Ripley skins because we're not able to develop them any further. All our efforts are being focussed on the newer Pliny framework, and in bringing the older skins over to this.
However, no development on the older skins also means that no functionality is being taken away from them, it's business as usual for Goo, Alabaster and Brunel.

Post 20 >>> Are you going to include the "How do I" forum in the lounge? It was never as popular as Ask but still occasionally gets a question.
We reviewed the threads in there and decided they'd all suit being in Ask h2g2 or Science Explained just as well. In an effort to make everything easier to find and get more responses, we're currently considering closing How Do I with the focus on promoting the other forums.
