I'm listening to "I'll get by as long as I've got you" on KJAZZ, an immensely popular jazz radio station in California.

The first cup of coffee has gone down the hatch. In half an hour, another cup will follow it, and then I'll have to go pick up my father and bring him to my brother's house for Sunday dinner. Today is Father's Day.

I've had a big pot... about one litre coffee, already... and I'm still half asleep... going to move on to Tea I think now whilst I try do the housework

Work is bad enough, but housework is twice as bad .



Why else would I be here in the lounge?

I like housework, if I can end up with a clean house afterwards, sadly I've too much junk everwyere, of my lodgers, so haven't cleaned certain parts of the house, at all in over a decade... I just can't get to them, or there is so much stuff of his in the way, and I'm not touching his stuff ... junk so... a very pointless sweep (at least my bedroom is clean and very tidy), brief clean round bathroom, sweep upstairs down (stairs are at least clear), and hoovered the bits of the front room carpet that I can find under all the junk and... houswork if I can do it properly cheers me up... this doesn't... so gona spend far far far too long in the bathroom cleaning myself up instead, to cheer and wake myself up before its time to start thinking about food still waiting for laundry to dry

Many men would rather have long hair than no hair. At least you can cut long hair. You can't say the same for no hair.

You would instead say "at least I don't have to get my hair cut".

Until recently I only had to shave once a month, now it's once a week. I turn 40 later this year I much prefer not having to shave.

I also only get my haircut once or twice a year. I don't mind having short hair, I don't mind having longer hair. I'm afraid it's just hair on me as fair as I'm concerned

Shaving once a day sometimes doesn't seem sufficnet I've had long, long hair since, well basically since I was 15 or 16, so... err, about twenty years... in all of which time I've never once been to a hairdressers having long hair doens't necessarily mean many long trips to the hairdressers...

I had a Trim, oo, about a week ago... which involves me walking into the kitchen, picking up a pair of sissors from the front room, en-route... walking to the kitchen bin, bending over,,,, and snip... well... seems to work for me., and must have saved a small fortune over twenty years or so

brain isn't working well today... yes... snipping off the final inch or so, on my pony tail just to keep it a bit neater

I'm about due for that sort of haircut soon--I need to chop off a couple of inches to get my hair back up to my waist.

back up to your waist?! Mine nears* my waist, soemtimes.... but its not been to* my waist for several ... quite a several years now

I found a super easy way to get layers - bunch it all up in an "idiot" ponytail just above the forehead. Trim to an even length, think shaving brush. Release.
It's not perfect, but it means I can have some sort of "hairstyle" without paying for it.
