That's interesting Milla - I'm very impressed (I really like your hairstyle - suits you to a T smiley - biggrin)

I'm like Pastey - I'm not keen on going to the hairdressers, but I don't mind short hair and I don't mind long hair. I did get a haircut just before the Meet this year, though, so I could see everyone without peering through my fringe smiley - mammoth --> smiley - sheepsmiley - biggrin

2legs - Hey, babe, take a walk on the wild side...

I should have got my hair cut whilst at the meet then! smiley - laugh My technique... doesn't exactly do the hair much good... I've a lot of stuff all odd lengths... smiley - blush but I@m not sure I could bare having a 'proper hair cut', to e even it all off, as I guess inevatably it'd end up fairly short if I did htat... and... nope, I can't ever recall having short hair smiley - laugh

I've cut the kids' hair for years. Still not cutting R's, the pros do a better job at really short hair. I started cutting friends hairs when I was around 15-16 years, and I'm finally picking up speed smiley - biggrin

2legs - Hey, babe, take a walk on the wild side...

The one advantage with my long hair, is when its cold, I can make a neck mudffler from it, by just moving my hairband, from the pony tail at the back, and binding the hair underneath my chin... smiley - zen also gives the impression I've got chest and facial hair smiley - snorksmiley - blushsmiley - seniorsmiley - ponysmiley - handcuffs Mind, there are certain disadvantages to long hair... it can... err... soemtimes... be a annoyance, when, err, say one is lowering ones head, to a sort of err looking down type of position, and the pony-tail kinda flops about over one's shoulder, and can get err in the way sort of around one's face area smiley - blush but, changing the pony-tail to something more like a err, 'bun'? can help prevent the worse of it, from interfering with smiley - erm things smiley - blush

How is the hair-dressing/drug-providing sideline going for you? And how do I book an appointment? smiley - winkeye

You can call me TC

Do you mean to say this called itself a lounge and didn't have any antimacassars?

I shall embroider a few for us. With our favourite smileys, of course.

smiley - chocolateteapot

And crochet edgings to finish them off.

The best-looking smileys (regardless of meaning or symbolism - entirely on aesthetics) in my opinion:

smiley - orangebutterflysmiley - flyingpigsmiley - petuniassmiley - cheerssmiley - pggbsmiley - surfersmiley - cracker
smiley - cupidsmiley - loveblush

Those that would be nice to embroider:

smiley - bubblysmiley - orangebutterflysmiley - bussmiley - hollysmiley - wizardsmiley - magicsmiley - brokenheart

Most pleasing design for the antimacassars would simply be the h2g2 logo, though. Can anyone remember who exactly designed that?

Pastey recently found some files that contained the story of the h2g2 logo. He posted it somewhere on site, but I can't find it at the moment.

Mister Nerd desires, as part of my wifely duty, that I cut his hair; as motivation, he provides mixed drinks or home-brew during the procedure.

So, to answer your question, haven't a clue. smiley - smileysmiley - winkeye

Baron Grim

Where did this convo start again? I really can't remember. I was on holiday, maybe at the Manchester Meet when it was posted and I really don't know what it's about anymore. My brain is mush after two weeks in the UK drinking amazingly tasty beers and looking at a mountain of Nachos at the Auld Hoose.

Where was I?

Oh, Yea....

Where was I?

Where was this conversation?

...

smiley - cheers
