the momentum workings out might be interesting - continental drift is only a few cm per year, on h2g2 we have four different topics per day

Ham sarnies for lunch, is the very best thing for a saturday afternoon woodworking (making sawdust really) and making new garden furniture out of pallets is one of lives great delights, must remember this time not to cut the measuring tape, like last time and then making the garden fit the chairs to keep them level

While we're drifting , I saw Jackruss's mention of cutting tape measures. When I was in 2nd grade, one of my classmate's fathers thought he'd be generous by giving each student in her class a foot long ruler made by cutting up a few tape measures. To this day, I still have the scar from running for recess bell and trying to stick my "ruler" in my desk and catching the edge, slicing my palm open deeply.
What was he thinking?!

Not that obviously
I made some nice sofas yesterday, three, 2-3 person type and one 4-5 person type, also decorated the large one with some logs, and its looking good. The BBQ was also good last night, and the furniture stood up well and very comphy too might make another table in time for next BBQ

This could be the mother of all topic drift's to end all topic drifts (but it probably isn't):
