*goes over to the stagecoach, opens door, stick head inside*

amos?

[X is just sort of there]

*yawns* That was a nice long sleep.

*picks up the DFB and climbs into the stagecoach to look at Amos*

is he breathing?

*puts a hand on amos's shoulder and turns him so she can see his face*

yeah, he's okay. a little battered, but okay.

*ahead of the Posse the escaping troop of Apes veers suddenly east as if they have seen something unexpected ahead in the Badlands*

Kettles boiled, anyone for tea?

Oh, yes please. *holds out *

*Steps out of the coach, rubbing head sleepily*

Tea would be lovely!

*Awakens when sea opens the coach door.*

would be lovely.

*Steps gingerly over Amos and exits the coach.*

*finishes her and takes off to do a reccy over the Badlands to the north and east*

*Wakes and rubs his chin. Thinks: not much chance of a shave out here.*

I'll take some of that tea, if you don't mind. I suspect we have a long day ahead of us.

*Open his eyes.*


Man, I feel like one big ache. But at least I'm not dizzy anymore.

I should think Amos needs a good strong black though.

Hmm, well I could do cappucino Baldrick style, but I doubt he would liek it, so simple coffee it is. Any idea what the bad guys are up to?

[X drinks his ]

*Tidbit playfully gives a tug on a loose thread in Carmel's hazmat suit. The whole thing spontaniously unravels, looking much like an international-warning orange banana peel, with Carmel staning at the center as the banana.*

Oh, deary, deary me! I suppose I should not have gotten a suit made by Playskool (tm) but the ones Hasbro make are for action figures, and I'm a bit too fluffy for them. Oh.....darn! *stamps her little foot*

Oh, I just know I'm going to get stained! Bother. You don't suppose the next jello's we fight will be light-tan colored?

I'll have a too, please...

*places frying pan on a flat stone in the fire*

*lands next to Carmel, Styx and Zeppo*

I've just flown over the badlands to the north of here. More trouble I'm afraid. The apes have somehow escaped from my trap and worked their way round to the west to get ahead of the rest of the Posse. The apes have recently changed direction and are heading east. It looks as if they'll cross the road and the stream north of here and then meet up with some injuns coming from the east.

In a break with tradition, I'd like to head them off _before_ they get to the pass. I'll go and discuss a plan with the others but I think you should be ready to move north on this side of the stream up into those hills. *points northeastish*

I'll come back when we're all ready.

*waves* flies back to the rest of the Posse and gives them a similar report*
