h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Just outside of Peta Gulch starts the majestic expanse of the tallgrass prairie. Travelling north the Posse will see herds of Bison grazing there together with Prairie Dogs, Coyotes and the odd Wolf. Despite the lack of trees the Prairie is able to conceal many wild animals and other sources of danger to the posse.

The road eventually winds it's way into gently rolling hillside which in turn gives way to a more rugged and broken landscape. The countryside here is characterised by bare rocks, gullies, buttes and canyons.

Coming up in the distance is a pass which must be traversed - it then descends into a deep and particularly foreboding canyon.

You start your journey just outside of town on the edge of the prairie.

*a small cloud of dust can be seen in the distance slowly settling down until it disappears*

*fresh hoof tracks with an RRR brand can be seen on the road immediately infront of you*

*Marvels at the tall-grass prairie stretching out for miles towards the distant hills.*

This'll take a while to get through.

Whew! *wipes her brow* That was challenging. I hope there is plenty more ammunition left for that target practice thingy. I certainly used a lot of it. *Holds up with a hole in it.*

What ho chaps. I say, nothing like a bit of good old British know how to get you past some inferior puzzle. ... My, what a lot of grass, and not a cricket pitch or pub in sight. I fear we may need the coach after all, even in that state.

We seem to be missing a few still. Perhaps someone should wait here for them while the rest of us carry on. I feel bad about just hanging about while Lil is in danger. It looks like a long journey after all.

*Has been ambling along behind the others and rather smugly holds up the enholed card, although if the truth be known she simply shot randomly away at the thing until more by lick than by judgement it came fluttering down...*

I'll take a cup of that , if you've got lots. I think Lil is probably safe for the time being, although I'm not sure what the Celery's reaction will be when he tries to use that manual.
