The Road to Town
Titania (gone for lunch) Posted Jun 21, 2002
Gandalf is strong enough to carry two people too - anyone left who hasn't decided on which horse to ride yet?

*flies off to tell Styx, Carmel, Zeppo and the Pugs that the Posse is moving off*

Witty Moniker Posted Jun 21, 2002
Continuing with the tails theme, I'll ride in back, Caer.
That's a mighty long way up to the back of that horse. I hope I don't get a nosebleed.
*Digs around in her totebag and comes up with a granny smith apple. Offers it to Bonnie.*
Be patient with us, Bonnie.

Dizzy H. Muffin Posted Jun 21, 2002
This "town" seems to be getting more and more distance between us and the last one!
[X] [finishes his ] I'm gonna scout on ahead.

Coniraya Posted Jun 22, 2002
*clambering up onto Bonnie, with very little grace and dignity*
Oh dear, sorry old girl I'm not too good with this.
T said she could another, sea.

Sol Posted Jun 22, 2002
Oh yes so she did! I'd be ever so grateful...
Sorry, T, missed this bit of the thread...

Sol, you can ride with me - just climb up on that stone over there...
*urges Gandalf towards stone to facilitate mounting*
Here, take my hand...
The Road to Town
Sol Posted Jun 22, 2002
*climbs up on stone, and grabs T's hand*
Upsidaisy. There we go. Thanks, T.

Witty Moniker Posted Jun 22, 2002
Okay, I guess it's my turn.
*Using parts of Bonnie's hardware as hand and foot holds, Witty climbs up behind Caer. Unfortunately, she ends up facing backwards. Bumping and jostling Caer, Witty manages to rotate around to face forward.*
So sorry!
*Ignores sniggering from the posse.*

(elsewhere on the prairie, talking to Carmel)
I'll draw you a map. *scratches some lines and squiggles in the mud* The Posse is here and will be heading off road like this... *draws a direction arrow* ... to meet the injuns who are here... *draws a tomahawk symbol* ... and the apes who are here. *draws a banana* You are here... *writes U R HERE* ... and I suggest you meet up with the Posse here. *X marks the spot* remember that the Posse also has apes who will not appreciate being hit by friendly fire.
Talking of which...*opens the ISC storage of the dragonFLYbot* ... here are some small guns, some ammo, a box of grenades, a bag of dried "high energy" dog food and a couple of pork pies ... *looks round at the prairie* ... and rabbit food as far as the eye can see . Oh, and some chocolate .

Carmel Bunny, spokes stuffie for cute things everywhere Posted Jun 23, 2002
*Carmel Scans the horizon, trying to find the rabbit food that is all around her. She scratches her head, puzzled as she can see no cookies and milk anywhere (she is a soft toy, after all)*
Oh, well, best get to this. It doesn't appear as if it would be much trouble. *she examines the map*
Pugs (in unison) - Moof! Mroof!!!
What? Oh...yes. *Carmel turns the map over*
Well, let's...um...saddle up? Girls, Go Out! Now Away To Me. No, no, sorry, try Come By.
*The pugs lope along at good speed, leaving Carmel to study her new weaponry. SHe humms the theme from Little House on the Praire to herself.*

Amos the Ranchhand (and Driver) Posted Jun 23, 2002
*climbs up the harness on to Clyde, and stows his shotgun*
All ready?
