h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

*The setting is a desert mesa, on top of a tall, circular plateau. The plateau is not very large, about the size of your average boxing ring. The fall would be quite lethal, but the rock is made of sandstone, and provided numerous hand and footholes. Other bits of natural architecture dot the landscape, not too far away.*

*With a blue flash of Inter-Demensional backwash HDS appears on the platue. He looks around, snaps his fingers and grins as the platue's top gets bigger*

*a shuttle drops of its cargo and returns to orbit*
Haha! I have arrived!

*Greets Sir Ralph with a smile and a wave and war pie thrown with great strength and accuracy*

This will be a god style battle, where the atacks shoudl be ammusing or in some way, unless you want a serouis fight

*hits HDS over the head with a dead chicken he borrowed from an armored figure*

*Hits Ralph upside the head with a cat he borrowed from an old crow*

Look! Over there!
*points behind HDS*

*rather belatedly, HDS looks, only glancing, then looks back at Sir Ralph*

*The plateau begins to crumble from all the inactivity, preparing to throw the two combatants down several thousand feet to the sharp rocks below. Other plateaus a distance away seem invitingly stable.*

*HDS claps his hands, the Mombassa (who dwells in HDS's right left eye socket) pops out, he flies upwards and spins around faster faster until he seems to grow larger, when he stopps spinning he no longer looks like an odd combination between a turtle and a humming bird, and he is no longer small, now he's about the size of an elephant, with wings the size of cars, a bright shiney white/silver, his body is gold and silver and with every beat of his wings lightening flashes out and a clap of thunder is heard*

*HDS raises his right hand and Mombassa flies down and HDS jumps on his back, sittign Indian style comfortably between his shoulder blades while Mombassa whisks him off, at greatly faster than the speed of sound, to one of the more comfortable looking platues.*

*graps a hold of André's talons and is lifted to a safer plateau*

*Mombassa now flies HDS to Sir Ralph's platue. HDS stares down at his adversary*

Any time now!

[Mombassa] he means start fighting

[HDS] its what we're here for

It is?

[HDS/Mombassa] Indeed

*punches HDS*
Okay, if you say so!

*HDS turns with the punch, then spits out a loose tooth and kicks Ralph*

Oww, you rotter!!

*slaps him accross the face for the shear unadulterated hell of it*

rotter eh? is that all you've got?
