h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

*The setting is the antarctic, or at least somewhere that cold and barren. The ground is mostly ice, but is covered here and there by light snow drifts, pushed about by howling winds, always carrying snow. Here and there, the ice is thin, providing acces to an freezing underwater level. A person could not live long under there, but it is perfect for ambushes.*

*walks in*

I think the above discription had not taken into account the fact my scarf doubles as a woolly hat and gloves.

*wraps an extra legnth of scarf around kneck and face and waits. For the first time in years the ends of the scarf are hovering somewhere around Time Traveller's knees.*

*appears*Luckily, llama's are good against cold.

*staggers in*

*shivvers*

This (hic) place is freezin!

*drinks from hip flask*

ah... that's (hic) better!

*throws a at DD*

mduf!

*wipes snow out of mouth*

You (hic)ing (hic)er, I'm going to (hic)!!!

*aims crossbow in Ralph's approximate direciton, the string breaks and the blunt end of the bolt hits Sir DD in the face*

*falls over, unconicouse*

*steals DD's hip-flask and takes a swig out of it*

*an ordinary playing card sythes through the air leaving a thin cut on Ralph's hand holding the hip-flask*

I think I should be Sir DD's second. Put his flask back in his pocket.

*gets out another pack of card, this time all green with their denominations in white. Poison.*

*takes another swig and gives DD back his flask*
Oh, yeah? You wanna make something out of it?

*takes out pocket chronometer, flicks it open and glances at it*

Right, it's Sir DD's hip flask, it's nearly pure alchohol, only Sir DD can actualy survive drinking it, so unless Ralph has some increadibly strong coffee he will be dead in oh, around 2 posts. I just have to wait.

Help! Somebody! I need a infusion now!

*injects the dying form of Ralf with concentrated coffee. It would be to cruel to have him die that way.*

*Stands up and stepps back. Gets out pack of exploding cards.*

These'll have you on your feet in no time!

well that was nice

I'm on Sir DD's computer at the moment and he's done something funny that means I cant sign in like I normaly do. When it's me I'll stick "---<<>>---" at the bottom.

*throws exploding cards at Chronos*

*dodges exploding cards thrown at him*

*wakes up, staggers accors to chronos and takes a swing at his right flank*

*brings in sword to block whatever Sir DD is swinging*

*leaps up from behind DD and pours down his throat*

*with a deft flick of the wrist Time Traveller sends a hail of exploding cards straight at Ralf*
