A room that's nice, I say congrats,
I have to ask if there are s?
If not and if you have the need,
I have a spare that lives on speed.
It's furry and inclined to bite,
But only those who post up sh*te.
For ghouls and s it purrs and grins,
For other things it eats their chins.

It`s up to you Michele, however,
should you accept it, just ask whether
if some night, a lover calls
will he escape with both his, er, attributes ?

Michele - Doily Mogul: Don't leave me! If you go there'll be no braincells in the room at all! Posted Feb 1, 2002
I thank you Sir (so very kind!)
and I'm tempted - given half a mind
but of bats I have no need you see
for there's plenty (more than there needs to be)
and I attribute that to the fact
that they're partial to warm cognac!
But please drop in, should you have the time
stop by for a call (you won't need a dime!)
the balcony doors are always open
to bats that feel like leisurely loafin'
from what I've heard the tower drafts are best

(that was weird - I did not push the post button, I was busy typeing and it posted by itself!!!)
Anyway - the last line of that was:
from what I've heard the tower drafts are best
for high-flying bats who need a rest!
(must have been gremlins in my keyboard again!)

You think you have free will, but something like that proves you do not; the machines are running you.

Personally - I liked the idea of gremlins better...
I havn't had a good case of the gremlins in ever so long, and I've been feeling a bit muffly because of it!

I am now totally confused
and I must say rather amusused
If I am going to post around here
Even if only from time to time
Must I do it all in rhyme?

Lurcher Posted Feb 2, 2002
Of course not Light, because you see
the rule is really just for me
but if ,however you`re so inclined
then fire away, no-one will mind!

If you do not like to rhyme,
simply post in singsong time.
You'll feel like you're back in school,
memorizing every rule.
This will drive you quite insane,
making every verse inane.
Don't forget, 'tis Lurcher's thread.
Just escape: go to Club Med!

* giggles *
I will stay for some time if I may
It seems like a good place to play
My ability to rhyme
May develop with time
if not then well! who can say!

I wish I`d never started now
the standard is too keen
I sit for hours wondering how
to end it, but it`s been
beyond me, so I`ll just persist
in trying to reply
so if you find a post I`ve missed
you`ll know the reason why!

Like you I have this odd affliction,
That permeates my speech and diction.
Before I used to speak quite plain,
But now I strive for verse in vain.
If noise you hear, like cruddy clang,
It's just my brains going with a bang.

I have not had the time to rhyme
although to rhyme is just sublime
but without an internet connection
I can't remember even a fraction
of the rhymes I rhymed when I had the time!
(back on line folks - ice storm can't keep me down! )

Let us introduce poor Victor
to a lady boa constrictor.
He'll teach her to cut a rug.
She'll show him the way to hug.
