A Conversation for The Temple of Confusionism
I actually remember the day I decided that I was going to learn to raise one eyebrow at a time so I could look like Leonard Nemoy. Took most of an hour to locate the proper muscle and now I can't stop doing it but nobody can see it because of my glasses.

It may interest you to know that I can do that too. It may also interest you to know that I set up the Avenue of Small Gods, and so I am now begging you: GO GET A TEMPLE!

Very nice, but if you look at your conversations list you'll see someone saying 'why not make it official?'. So, if you want to know, the Avenue of Small Gods is both linked at the top of the Temple of Confusionism page and here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/guide/A661961

Sure. It was your idea in the first place. I just posted on the Keeper space because it was suggested on the Small Temple space.

The reason for that was that I felt that there were already many similar set ups, and I am keeper of something and felt that it might be a good idea to link so that people would not apply in wrong place. Temple up there now. Link, please?

y'don't actually have to change your name, just like there are lots of people called Christian who aren't Christians(in the religious sense of the word). But feel free to join, or even make a church if you wan't. There's a link a little further up.

Slightly foggy from some winter ailment.
Sorry, Beth. It isn't from me. Most Jewish temples are 'Beth' something, so it goes back a few thousand years...

I have gaven you your link. Wear it in good health, g-d willing!
I went back to the Avenue and you have it listed as the Temple 'of' Beth Water. I believe the Hebrew word Beth actually means 'to' or 'dedicated to'. The 'of' suggests that 'Beth Water' might be a person and kinda smacks the gag for those in the know.
It should be listed as 'Temple Beth Water'.
Please? Pretty please? Pretty please with sugar and a dill pickle on it?

(aaaaagggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh)Re: BtB
Thank you.
Beth, it's kind of like the old gag about a catholic kid attending "Our Lady of Perpetual Motion".
Most synagogues are called Temple Beth Israel or Temple Beth Sinai or something lie that (if I'm not talking completely out of the top of my hat, which is possible, considering my sinus status. My head feels like it is floating.)
Key: Complain about this post
