Glad someone remembers the 80s Who. I'm sure I watvhed it but I was very small at the time and can't remember it.
I do just about remember visiting the when I was 4 though.

I also remember a horror film around 1979. It had a strange end theme, a piano theme. it was strangely beautiful, and sounded a bit liek to dream the impossible dream. it played over a girl in a boat, and then went all Jaws-y, when this young boy zombie attacked her. she woke up, but there was no boy.

How many of them have they done? It's getting like Batman and the Incredible Hulk where there are just so many.

You should have a look at the website called the IMDB. They have information on pretty much all movies, including soundtrack information.

The music was composed specifically for the film(s): http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Friday_the_13th_(franchise)

I'd if it wasn't so true psychocandy.
Billie Piper did that interview thing at the back of Radiotimes and said that she hadn't realised she was talking oddly in the last episodes and it was probably because it was cold when they were filming Someone could have told her! She also said that she knew she'd be coming back after she left the first time. Imagine having had to keep that secret for so long. This time she doesn't know if she's coming back again so hopefully she isn't!

I very much doubt Rose will be brought back in the "parent" show at least. She's an RTD character and was a major part of his four-series arc and now all that's over (and that closure has been provided for the character) there's no need to bring her back.
I think there's talk of her returning for a spin-off "special" at some point, though, although I might be wrong on that.

I think she's had her time now. She has her own Doctor (or a version thereof) to carry on her life with, I can't see that she would serve any great purpose. If they brought her back, they would have to bring the half Doctor back too and that would get way too confusing!

Dr. Two
half doc could jury rig some type of time machine for fun in a parrallel universe and the writers could experiment with many "what if" cenarios

Superb, Taff
Does anyone know if Moffat wrote the 'library' story before or after he knew he'd be taking over? I'm thinking about the likelyhood of River Song (Was it just me or did she not seem like a more developed version of the woman from 'Impossible Planet/The Satan Pit'?) (p)reappearing. And, on a similar note, did he write 'The Doctor's Daughter'? She's ripe for a spinoff/reappearance.

No, he didn't write that, but I'm hopeful she won't make a reappearance (unless possibly as a villain).
Dr Who
van-smeiter Posted Sep 9, 2008
I'm with you on that but I'm not sure I'd like to see her return even as a villain; they'd have to explain it v well.

>>What woman? Ida Scott?<<
I think that's who was meant. I liked Ida, I was half-expecting to see her come back in the Planet of the Ood.
I don't think she's a prototype River though. I've said it before, and I'll say it again until I get my way - bring back River! She make a brilliant companion or at least recurring character.
