was there a song in the 60s' sung by a little girl about Who. I'm sure there was.
Dr Who
Bright Blue Shorts Posted Sep 10, 2008
No. You're thinking of the rock supergroup named in honour of it ... The Who.
Anyway you still haven't revealed your age. I'm still betting on 9-10 years old. C'mon don't be shy, let us know.

It had a long white-haired man in a big spaceship, and something Doctor Whoey that. Was it the girl in the peter cushing movies?

You keep ignoring my question. In fact you seem to be one for asking them but not providing answers.
You asked us all in an earlier post how old we thought you were, I've put my answer forward and want to know if I win the sweep ...

You're thinking of 'Who's Doctor Who' by Roberta Tovey. They've used it over photo montages in a few Doctor Who documentaries, and yes, she played Susie in the Dalek movies.

I'm putting my money on late teens / early twenties.
I really need to know what the episode was that had Daleks in it and also a big rabbit. Tell me what it was IMMEDIATELY.

That's easy, that was Monty Who and the Holy Daleks.
Surprised you didn't know that Gif.

What a rude way to ask for a favor. Especially since it would require less effort to JFGI than to post here asking someone else to do it for you.
Thanks to all of you here who've discussed aspects of the older shows and the newer ones. I've now finished all of Series 2 and 3, and a kind friend has offered to hook me up with DVR copies of Series 4 from TV to hold me over till the box set's released.
Almost through re-watching all of the Tom Baker eps. Gosh, was "Robots of Death" a good one.
Once we've finished these, I'm deicided going to rent all of the other eposides available on DVD. So I'm enjoying hearing which eps are everyone's favorites!

'Robots Of Death' was an excellent one. Not much padding in the episodes. Nicely balanced development of the story. All stuff that I miss from 'new Who' where everything has to be tied up in 45minutes with lots of rushing about.
'Doctor Who and The Talons of Weng-Chiang' is a great one too.
as is Horror of Fraggle Rock' sorry...'Horror of Fang Rock'.

Caves of Androzani is very good if you can forgive them the big rubber monster.
Dr Who
Mister Matty Posted Sep 11, 2008
"Caves of Androzani" is excellent, Sharaz Jek is one of the great Who villains.
But, yes, that monster is awful and just to rub it in it doesn't really serve much purpose in the plot beyond providing a cliffhanger ending for one episode.

I'll look forward to those, then. Especially as I am positive I would not have seen "Caves of Androzani" before, but it is in the queue. I do like a nice rubber monster to giggle at sometimes.

We're just watching the end of Doomsday
They don't make 'em like that any more. All this running off with Doctor Two nonsense

"Talons of Weng-Chiang" arrived today. I'll watch it over the weekend, if not before.

Great story (CSO giant rat aside!)
I did mean Ida Scott- maybe it was the hair that made me compare her to River.
I've been tipped off that the specials (in lieu of season 5) will be broadcast in 2009 at easter, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve and New Year's Day (2010).
What dr who is it where the doctor is on a five-year mission to go where no man has gone before? He has a companion with pointy ears and kisses an alien woman passionately in the torpedo bay?
