Yes the BBC Eds are brilliant. I had a bit of a problem recently and they were lovely.

And I do really still love the BBC...and always will.

But it's a new adventure.

Just so long as they don't turn us red like their own forums.

Robbie's asked me to ask me to post "hello," on his behalf, he's overseas at the moment and can't post, but is doing his best to keep up.

He is, of course, just as delighted as we are - and is very touched by all these messages of support.

A big thank you to everyone involved in such a mammoth project. I can only add my relief to that of others, that h2g2 will survive. It is difficult to explain why it means so much to us, but we have made many true friends over the years, and the loss of this central point of contact would have been very sad.

I just hope it will be kept simple and within the capabilities of even the least expert computer user.
