I'd just like to pop a *massive* thank you in here. Yes, us on the interim committee have done a lot of work over many hours to work with Robbie and the great guys at Noesis (they are great guys, you'll see) to put together what we really believe to be a truely great future for us here. But my thank you is for the rest of you guys.
We've found it hard to wait, to try and second guess, to judge feeling and likely reaction to what we've put together, and to wait. But I think that was nothing to you guys. We've, to a degree at least, known some of what was happening, at least the details of our own bid. But we've not been able to share those with you, so you've had to wait patiently (mostly) without knowing anything, and that must have been very hard.
So, my thank you is to you lot, the ones we were representing. I only hope that you're pleased with our outcome, and as excited about the future ad we are!

I believe Aly that you've just found out first hand about the apostrophe problem smiley - smiley

For everyone not on the committee and privy to such information, Aly is one of those great guys from Noesis. If thanks are the order of the day, she deserves some too!

Haha! Now I've been reliably informed this skin is more stable...

I'm sure over the next while I'll experience a lot of these little blips and realise I have a lot of learning to do. So far, I've really enjoyed the whole experience.

I'd like to also say a massive thank you to the consortium. Those of you not on it have no idea about the hours of true dedication your team put in to the bid. They are an amazing lot!

I'm proud to be part of the team moving it forward and if even half of you are as lovely and as inspiring and as hard working as those in the consortium, the new H2G2 will be a force to be reckoned with!

Guess you'll have to be 'italicised' now.

I'm sure it doesn't hurt, as long as you don't have lilitis and are safe with buttons.

And don't forget to search for Nighthoover, or 2legs will get very upset. And an upset 2legs is not a pretty sight. In fact, much worse than normal.

If there is a normal on hootoo.

Enjoy. smiley - ok

Now you're in a skin that works, just click on any of the smileys that you can see and it will take you to the page where they live. We have over 200. . .

Smilies:

Just put the name of an object in between < and > hopefully you'll find that it's a smilie.

< cake > -> smiley - cake

< cheese > -> smiley - cheese

< cheesecake > -> smiley - cheesecake

It doesn't work with all objects, but it does for a surprisingly large amount!

So here I am sitting in Moscow, keeping a watching eye, thinking how time flies and how patience and elegant planning have a habit of winning out. Well done Robbie. I for one can't wait to role my sleeves up in the winter blizzard, welcome in the spring and rejoice in the inexorable coming of summer.
