My thoughts are with all those touched by this terrible event. Words cannot express what I feel.

Thoughts are with all those affected by this act, particularly those who are most directly involved through their location, or through connection with people who are there. Let us all hope that sanity will prevail and that no more innocent people need die, wherever in the world they happen to live.

What can I say? My cousin survived, though injured, and my friends are still alive. For all those involved in this tradgedy know we are thinking about you. For those who have lost their lives Rest in Peace....For those left behind try not to be angry even though it is hard.
Blessings be upon you and yours

To all of you lovely people throughout the world who have taken the time to log in here and express yourselves so eloquently, thank you.
The posts I have read here have brought (more) tears to my eyes. We here in the United States will hold fast to the concept that MOST of the world does NOT condone or stand behind the maniacs who perpetrated this horrific act against innocent people. Incidents of bravery and love for each other have been pouring in through the various news agencies here...
Please, everyone, go out and practice a random act of kindness today. Hug your family and hold them dear to you. Give blood or plasma. If each of us will only try to make our own little spot of the Earth a better, kinder and more loving place, then we will all be okay.
I am so heartened to see the postings here---it proves what I knew all along, that Mankind, in the face of terrible tragedy will stand up and face down the ugliness that some of our kind force upon us.
I would like to add that we should NOT bring judgement against those who practice the Muslim religion. The basic tenets are love and forgiveness. This is a tiny sect of fanatics who hide behind and use their religion as an excuse to gain their own twisted and sick version of power.
God bless you all, and thanks again for your concern and caring. The United States is truly united today, and seeing what you all have written has made THIS American proud to be one of the World Community.

I continue to be stunned. Can't think of anything useful to say but my thoughts go out to everyone who has been touched by this.

Horrified by what I saw unfolding yesterday. The images of those desperate people clinging to the sides high up in the Manhatten sky, waving from the windows only to be engulfed in Hell will remain with me forever. Sympathy and love to all touched by this evil.

Horrified and aghast to see events unfolding.
We are not a collection of Christians, Jew, Muslims, Americans, Arabs, Europeans or suchlike, we are all a collection of PEOPLE.
It is far to much to understand, what anybody could have hoped to achieve by this.
My only hope is that the continued support for the Americans and the condemnation of the perpetrators will go someway to counterbalance this evil.

My thoughts and prayers are with those who lost their lives and their families and friends. My heart also goes out to the survivors who have to live with the horrible memories. Please keep praying for the rescue workers. It's still so dangerous, and we can't begin to understand the toll it's taking on them emotionally.
