It's not hard to make someone jump. You just have some silence, then something happens suddenly and, preferrably, noisily.

O dont be soo skptical, it was well done, anyway i wasnt a horror movie so you dont just judge it on how much it made you jump.

i think it was excellently done. showed how powerful the ring was, its effect on peeps & how strong-willedBilbo was 2 pass it on to Frodo in the first place(tho that required a hellva lot of help from Gandalf)!

The way he only let go of it by tipping his hand, with a great deal of effort, was really effective. It's details like that which make the difference between a good film and a bad one.

I dont know who directed it, but it is clear they had talent. Anyway they had alot of people with very artistic visiosn working on the films so they should be good. And are so. (Well judging from Film1)

Ah, yes. The not-so-limited edition complete series boxed set. Just imagine sitting in front of the TV for ten hours with a big bag of popcorn and watching people do really energetic things. My bet is on for a vast increase in the number of heart attacks in 2004
