Did anyone else think that elijah wood looked like a plastic figure all the way through the film? Plus his eyes are FAR too big for his head.

i did notice his massive eyes actually! i liked the way they did sam. thats how i imagined him (more or less). Go Samwise!

His eyes were rather large... but I saw that as an asset to his part It gives him the innocent, uncorrupted, cheery look that I find characteristic of Hobbits, especially since the movie doesn't have the time to build up the quaint little shire

Yeah they do say that a baby face is the most believeable and lovble, big eyes, lips etc, pronouced but not harsh features. They were portrayed well though, they looked harmless, afraid and in need of help.

The best films in the world are the ones you can see over and over again, because they have so much detail. It works especially with comedy, but other film types have it as well.

Yeah but the thing about the Usual Suspects is that it's such a shock when you find out that you just HAVE to watch it again! Plus it's just an all round damn good film.
