Affy .... how precisely would you like to play this ? I`ll go along with it but my weakness may be temporary and I`ll try to reassert myself over time if I`m able to ..... if I`m having fun with this then we may go on.

It might be good to give me some clues for the next few days and I`ll try to stay true to what you want me to do for a while at least.

Okay, it's not going to be an exact bloodfest. When I assume control of your body, you'll be instructed to locate and kill Sarah Briggs *WITHOUT HARMING THE SOULSTONE*, then you take the Soulstone from her, and say [Special Ability: Raise Atlantis].

However, while I'd like to just start doing that now, we're obliged to await GL's roll of the dice to see if I succesfully managed to enslave your will.

Oh, and if I did, it might be effective if you start shouting "Help! Get him out of me! Get him out!" Not under your own power, of course, but to make the others not want to harm me/you.

And that's all assuming that no one is cheating by reading this thread.

The possession spell is successful!

So, Martens is now possessed by Yclept, just like the original Gillings was. This means that Martens dies in the process. All of his skills and memories can be used, however. Also, Yclept's spirit leaves the Astral Plane and is now contained within Martens' body. (I'll post to the Astral Plane thread).

Practically, I think that what happens here is that Affy takes over the character of Martens, since the real Martens is now dead (sorry, Red Dog). You can read the private thread for Martens now, Affy. For you, Red Dog, there are some stand-by characters that I can introduce for you to play, if you want to keep playing. I haven't scanned them in yet, but I can do so on Sunday. You can let me know here, Red Dog, if you want a new character.

I'll have to make an announcement that Martens is now being played by Affy, otherwise it would be confusing. Unfortunately, this will tip people off, but I will also post that they shouldn't use this information until there is actual evidence in the game.
