Yclept has taken possession of the body of Martens, although no one will be aware of this until there is some evidence of it in the game. Some may be aware that he has taken possession of someone, but they won't know who. What this means practically, is that Affy will now play the role of Martens and Red Dog is deprived of his role (the character dies when the body is possessed). There are some stand-by characters that Red Dog can play if he wishes to - he will let me know.

Not sure if I was absolutely clear there.

I had to tell you that Yclept had taken possession of Martens so that you would understand when Affy started posting as Martens. But, you shouldn't use that knowledge until your character has some evidence within the game. In other words you actors know about the possession, but your characters don't.

It's the same in drama everywhere.

Speaking of which, stories like this generally have more than one. Wonder what's keeping the other one from their actions....

If not for the slip I would have tried to cut the cargo lashings and crush Gillings, dangerous I know but if the dice were in my favor it might have worked. Definatly a last resort though, they could have fallen and crushed the captain and his family, that would have been just no good.
