Um, Lighthouse Girl, my friend over there in the corner
has come rather a long way, and may
not by familiar with our foods. I think he'd appreciate
roast boar. Or venison, hot bread and nut-brown ale. The
would probably please him, but would there be
any boar or venison?

* returns to the bar looking exhausted and somewhat bedraggeled *
Did someone ask if there was a storm - and offer a port?
* places a large dead wild boar on a spit roast by the fire *
Sorry I have been so long - have you been amusing yourselves?
I need a drink - how is everyone elses glasses?
Does anyone know how to roast this boar - I thought a medieval themed day or two might be good. I have all this mead which needs drinking too ...

Boar is easy, its just like cooking pork. The only trouble is they are evil minded beasties, so you had better be really careful about catching the sod, or you'll get a set of tusks shoved just where you don't want them
* sips from the safety of a tall tree *
