Mr. Christopher, enjoying the Magicians Guild game where he is called Polonius Franc, Elder Healer and local merchant Posted Sep 26, 2001
I forgot you work nights. I'm watching it now and there's a Douglas Adams themed reference.

I thought the series premier was good. I wasn't sure what to expect of it but I really liked it.
I caught the Adams reference too and giggled (but have since forgotten what it was - cerebral flatulence).

It had something to do with an odd number of a certain part of a woman's anatomy. And I think there were a few others thrown in. I think it will do weff for a few seasons, but I really wanted to see the new series take place at the academy.

I watched the first 40 minutes of it and the last thirty because I was in the shower the rest of the time-it was pretty good, though. I'll admit, towards the end when that guy was fighting the wacko funny looking guy, I got kind of nervous when he jumped through the door and the alien came after him.
Anyway...

Did you hear about the new Keifer Southerland series that is being edited because the first eppisode contains a scene where a hijacked plane crashes?

Keifer Southerland is an actor. And a very good one at that.

Keifer Sutherland is the son of
actor Donald Sutherland. At
one time he was engaged to be married
to actress Julia Roberts. He's
a member of Hollywood's "Brat Pack,"
which also includes Brad Pitt, Rob Lowe,
Emilio Estevez, Charlie Sheen, and
Sean Penn, among others. I'm pretty
sure I've left out a few. There's one
with the first name "Jud," but I don't
remember his last name. Molly Ringwald
and Wynona Rider are sometimes included
in the group, though Rider is probably
too young for it.

You may remember Southerland from such movies as "The Lost Boys," "Flatliners," "Flashback," and... I forget.

I remembered that one on the way home last night. I think you're right, there were also a few subtle ones thrown in.

SO, THERE!
I must say that the idea of meeting other researchers appeals to me. Noone else ever gets my h2g2 references. =/

Yeah, it's still the sign up thingie-we just goof around most of the time. I'm Shorty, and I'm from Pennsylvania. Wecolme! Have some . You probably won't be on the list for a day or two though-Shea has to add you and I haven't seen here her all weekend.
It's definitely nice meeting other people from the same area as you-you don't have to explain about some stuff that people in other parts of the world wouldn't know about.

Yeah, even the cool people (read: my friends) in Hawaii didn't know H2G2. I had to educate them, but only one actually got as obsessed as I.
And a damned shame, too, because I firmly believe that if everyone read Douglas Adams as religiously as they do, well, religious thingies, the world would be a much crazier, and therefore better, place.
Anyway, fellow hitchikers, is there anything interesting going down in Boston this week that I should know about? I just KNOW there must be some fun stuff in this city, but I haven't found anything aside from the major stuff (school doesn't exactly help with exploring, eh?).

May I be insufferably smug for a moment, and cheer the fact that I am long out of school? No? Oh, well, perhaps a will help make life easier - provided you're old enough to drink.
Peace, Stephen
