BTW- any researchers in the area (and outside the city) are welcome to attend the outing when we get it together.
Since I'm local I'll handle making arrangements. If there are enough people wanting to come in and needing/wanting to stay the night I'll try to weasel a good rate for everyone at one of my friend's hotels.

I just found out something interesting. Did you know that during the Civil War, Delaware and Maryland were both slave states and not considered part of the northeast?

He's a comedian and has been on Conan O'Brian several times. He also does this think called The Gotham Desk on Gotham TV on the Metro Channel.
