Loup,
i understand the point you made re; 'deep throat' (i have seen 'The X Files aswell), and thankyou for clarifying as many of the researchers wouldnt come up with that assumption by themselves
incidentally seeing as you are conversing with 'Mulder' in this thread, i would just like to point out that she did not pass on any information from within the aces forum
i am aware of the fact you was not referring to myself but my point was people on here would only use that to bring some humour into this thread, at my expence
im not taking offence but perhaps you could use another example in future?

Yeh yeh very fair comment it is true about me been a Ace and a Ace veiw on it but i guess i would probably have the same view
if i was a researcher but im not and me saying i would is speculation
I guess to now anser the question best way i can but i have no doubt the ed`s will be able to tell you better than i can but this is my shot at it
H2g2 is a friendly site and realy
dosen`t want to be known as a *chat room*Which its not H2G2 is a D.N.A site where unlike chat rooms you can write articals on a subject start your own clubs etc etc unlike a chat room
Also like some chat room`s dont have your message center insted have your own home page that you can put pictures on and links
And h2g2 is/isnt (your view here)
a friendly site and dont feel that been able to lock out pages threads home page represents a friendly site so all of it(appart
from volunteer forum that you have to join first)Is all open to
all researchers
So leaveing it all open plan and relaying on the volunteers to uphold the <./>houserules</.>for the small number that come on thinking it is just a chat room
and it can be treated as such
But if they wonder around they will see that there is so much more to h2g2 than *asl* and leaveing nasty messages for people on there page
*Just my take*

Loup,
that makes sense good point, i will try to keep a check on what im saying in other threads, despite personal feelings!
i have no problem with you lurking in my threads, everyone lurks and anyone who says they dont arent being honest anyway
1st thread you have picked out, my sense of humour doesnt appeal to all granted but at least i have 1, in the 2nd thread i was generalising but i meant every word, i dont want my personal business on this site for anyone to read, would you? incidentally thanks for pointing them out, is it just because im on digibox that they are in a white screen? am i on some sort of trial here? im just wondering as there seems to be 3 of my posts in this thread people have been directed to and i can assure you if i was on pc i would be delighted to point out threads where 'other' 'posts' have been overlooked however, the purpose of this thread isnt for tat and i am not asking to be excused for my actions, or am i here making excuses for myself, but then i am not an ace, i have no responsibility to anyone on this site other than myself and i do not tell people to live by the rules of a site that i am not living by myself
i will however, as ive said put some more thought into my posts on other threads

Localised Girl,
theres a lot of problems on site at the moment not just within
im getting error page 400 like you wouldnt believe (which would explain my mini spams)!
theres a thread on h2g2 somewhere (no doubt a 'friendly' researcher will tell you where it is cos i cant remember), might be on the front page, it mentions an 'upgrade' on monday or perhaps wednesday depending on how things go, you should read it, theres some relevance for all of us in it
be back later all, error pages are doing my head in now

hi guys, well i told you i wasnt a morning person! which is why i could only manage a couple of sentences
Loup, i agree with your reply to my post, but i had a sense of issues being raised thet were not quite relevant to the thread around the 140 post mark, and examples are great but if it gets to the point of you did this and said this etc then as you acknowledged it could get messy. (i might knock my wine over )
Vamps, i noticed you had let it go and not replied to the post, for whatever reason, and that is great.
Intern please don't think i am having a go, but i think that maybe dealing with a wider issue it may help clarify the points you have on a more personal level I know how you are feeling at the moment, and don't want you to think your feelings are ignored etc
I will read the rest of the backlog later as i have only just got up! (and may go back to bed again soon!)
