Well, when I say 'powerwalk', I mean 'stroll around the town with your friends'. Just the way 'swimming' in Games means 'sit in the jacuzzi for an hour'.

unless you go to my school where swimming is an hour and a half session of lengths and relays.

apparently in Japan one of those dance machines where you have to move your feet to correspond with arrows on the screen like Dance Dance Mania or something is now classified as a sport.

Speaking as a hater of all sports, I can only say that they are a prefect cure for lack of sleep.
Football, a group of men running around a field trying to kick a piece of inflated pigs bladder into a space 35,000 times the size of that object, and when they do they hug and kiss each other.
And don't get me started on cricket.
Sport: a lot of running around and getting hot and sweaty. I have far more enjoyable ways for that to happen

My husband loves American college football. It was either become a football widow or join him. I decided to join him. I have to admit, watching a field full of young, athletic buttocks in very tight pants isn't such a bad way to spend a few hours on a Doobry!

Can't stand football(American). The players make way more money than anyone in a job that requires skill or is actually important to anyone other than the fans. Now basketball, on the other hand....there's a sport. The pros still make way too much money, but at least it's fun and a lot faster than football.

There's always rugby! Lots of big guys in very short shorts. Very physical.Usually in the mud.

Of course, cricket is the best sport. More drama than any other sport, if the two teams are anywhere near evenly matched. American football's the only sport dull enough to require cheerleaders, of course.
Key: Complain about this post
