I might as well join. My better half drums in three local (Chicago) bands- a punk band ( http://www.thegeezers.net/geezers.htm ), a "power pop" band ( www.tuffyuk.com ), and a country & western band called The Axes of Evil. My primary contribution is carrying equipment and loading in, as well as lending unending moral support. And circulating copies of CDs to anyone who's interested (shameless plug 
).
I'm a huge fan of music, was on on-air radio personality at two Chicago college stations over a period of ten years, and still pop around the local scene from time to time. Both myself and my better half have also deejayed in a few area venues.
My favorite bands/artists include Radio Birdman, Alex Chilton, the Cramps, the Minutemen, et. al. Pop round my Uspace for more details...
So, can I please join?

I officially play the flute and the guitar, and unofficially can get by with a clarinet or a sax. I do a small amount of ensemble singing.
Favourite composer is Mozart (a cliche i know) or CPE Bach, not JS bach who I find predictable.
Not really looking for anything more than a shiny badge out of the guild.
