At the moment, I play the electric bass, the flute, and the bassoon. In the past I have played the acoustic guitar, the oboe, the cello, and the piano. I also sing.

My favorite band is currently the Beatles, although I love Broadway and Jazz. Some classical is great too.

I've played the baritine horn for almost 2 years now, and I'm in the jazz band at my school in place of a trombone. I played the trumpet for about 2 years and the piano for six(maybe more). My friend taught my the basics o fthe flute in and afternoon. I love to sing (which I do all the time) and I know I tiny bit of sax and guitar. I love all music Especially the Beatles, and really I could go on forever! Like my name suggests I have an eclectic taste in music, except for rap but I don't really consider that to be music.(and I don't mean offense to anyone!) I guess I should go know. Bye!

(it may seem eclectic, but it works for me.).

2.Do you have a favorite composer, musical artist, band, or music genre? Yes... oh you want names? Well for the composer it's a choice between John Williams, John Barry and David Arnold. Band would be one of the following, Pixies, Breeders or The Dandy Warhols. I like most genres

Hello

I love music and have played the flute for around 10 years. I have played in orchestras and have backed solo singers. I also play the electric guitar, althought Im still only a beginner on that.
Just recently I bought my first clarient, so Im now self teaching myself how to play it.
I love rock music and inidie.

i play bass guitar and i have sung in the past (mostly in a choir setting)

i am a big fan of mid to late 90's alt rock. my favourite composers include ben folds, billy corgan, ryan vanderarch (the guy from the verve pipe (i may have misspelled his last name, sorry about that)), les claypool, and john lennon. some of my favorite bands include guster, ben folds five, the bens, ben folds, the who, the smashing pumpkins, the clash, flogging molly, and that is just the tip of the iceberg, i am open to anything once, but i take music very seriously and refuse to listen to crap.

what would i like to get from the musician's guild? i would like to consort with other musicians on all kinds of topics (from music to politics to religion to science to freakin huge bass amps).

I'm a Guitarist, Bassist (in a band called Bateman who have a website out there in the ether), Ukuleleist (if there's such a word), home recording halfwit with too much gear!

My Favourite musicians (at this point in time) are Tony Levin (Bass Genius), Robert Fripp (King Crimson), Damien Rice, Dave Gilmour, aww too many to list really I'll leave it at that unless prompted to embellish.

I kinda just want to meet other music type folks.

1) i play double bass, alto saxophone, and piano. i am also planning to learn trumpet for marching band next year. i don't really sing in a group... but i sure do sing a lot.
2) i am a jazz freak. 2nd alto in my high school jazz band, soon to be the pianist. im also in about every band program at my school that has started so far. im also a classical fanatic (1st bassist in strings class, only bassist in orchestra, 3rd bassist in symphony). i think my favorite composer would have to be henry mancini (jazz), and Bach (cuz he writes the best bass stuff)
3) The only thing i would like from the Guild is just to be in a group with people who love music as much as I do.
