Smarch is short for Shadowmarch. It's a non-h2g2 thing, which may interest you if you are a fan of fantasy, especially Tad Williams.

Anyone fancy a campfire? Come to the campfire circle for a singalong of traditional bawdies and Guide/Scout campfire songs, smores, toasting marshmallows, dampers (twists), campfire stunts, campfire yarns and the like. Please bring some (burnable not green) wood with you. http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/classic/F45817?thread=218068

if it will pass the h2g2 moderators, it's a lot cleaner than the songs/skits at most older (above 14 year olds) Scout/Guide campfires.

I would have been thrown out of guides I think.Brownies was lovely,I was a Pixie and one week we had to bring something from home that came from another country. We all had to draw a name of a country out of a bag and mine was HAITI. In those you couldn't buy murderous dictators from Liptons or the Co-op so we were pretty stuck!!!!How we laughed.....

That shows poor organising skills on the part of the Guiders - I did something similar a few years back but made sure I could think of at least 5 things readily available from every country we put in the hat.

Is anyone actively part of the Sheep Revolt any more?

Strange, it doesn't feel like a year ago.

A little over a year, actually. Doesn't seem like it here either. A lot has happened in the last year.

And back then, when I suggested it become an annual event, March 2003 seemed an age off.
