Waves hello while carrying backpack and tent looking for an opening. This seems like a friendly place to hang out. (Tried the coffee shop but the caffeine gave me the jitters.) I hope no one minds barbecues and bonfires .

Well you might have to stay in somebody elses tent for the night, a I havn't seen Frankie Roberto all day. He went off somewhere.

Thanks for the welcome. I can wait for a campsite. I spent last night outside without a tent looking for meteors. We did see some really nice meteors.

Yeah, one nearly landed on me !!!

Did you see very many? We saw maybe forty. But, we were outside for six hours. It is not as cold here (Louisiana) as some places in November. So it was not so bad staying outside. I think our neighbors were suspicious, as they turned on their outside lights at three in the morning.

I didn't see a single one! It was too cloudy, and cold...

I could use some help with the stakes. It is a canvas tent that looks smaller than it really is. I think I packed everything else in my backpack. Do you allow pets? The dog and cat like to camp too. Are campfires allowed?

If it resembles a military tent from the 1860's we are in business. It was a gift from my brother, the history buff.

Ah. That explains everything.

My brother is at a civil war re enactment as we type. He dresses up and plays Confederate soldier. I have pictures of this.
