So, Columbia has signed a deal to (re-) make films of the Stieg Larsson trilogy. Here's crossed fingers for doing a good job of them - though I cannot think how Lisbeth Salander can not be Naomi Rapace. She's so brilliant in that role!

I heard a radio interview with that actress where she talked about how many months it took her to get ready for the part. She said she wouldn't be interested in playing the character in an English language version and didn't feel that cobbling together a fourth book, from writings the author had left behind, would be a good thing.
She seemed a sensible girl.
