This is the sign of the apocolypse... Pink Floyd's The Wall as a Broadway Musical. Roger Waters had better have a good explaination for this....

Oh! You mean Santra joining the Atelier *isn't* one of the facts that I haven't caught up with in the current backlog?
Hej Santra! Have a seat! Is your daughter still looking at you *that* way?

GDZ, there isn't any chance I could get a copy of that game, is there?

Might be able to email it to you, it should be small enough and I am fairly sure it is shareware.

Well I've spent an interesting afternoon taking urethreal swabs from men.
And yes I still want to do sexual health medicine when I grow up. It's not that bad - for me!

Ah, Prince of Persia. One of the only arcade-style computer games that I ever finished. Has anyone tried the latest incarnation? Is it any good? Usually the only games I finish are Myst-like or Zork-like.
And when did they add subtitles to the LEDs? If you don't know what I'm talking about, place your mouse over an LED and wait a second.

I've heard mixed results of the latest version. I've not played it, but it got panned a bit by some gaming sites. I also have heard that it is a worthy sucessor to the originals.

I have got stuck on Prince of Persia; Sands of Time, but the graphics are very pretty. But all I'm playing at the moment is Star Wars Galaxies.
Welcome Santra and Happy Birthday B4

Marv, that is truly frightening. I'm going to stock up on water and canned goods. I still have yet to see the movie all the way through and in a sober state...I was just meaning to do that. Have you seen the "Waking Quinn" episode of Sealab 2021? It reminded me of the Wall for some reason. There's one part where they re-enact a scene from Apocalypse now in which Kurtz meets the narrator...
"Your errand boy sent by grocery clerks..."
What an awesome book/movie/parody. D**n.
GDZ, that would be awesome. email it to me at:

Thanks!

Re: Displacement use - reminds me of a story I heard about the woman who, reaching for her eye drops on the bedroom table, managed to put nail glue in her eyes. Ack!

Thanks, all...
May I add, though, that in some circles I have known, being greeted with a "is your daughter still looking at you *that* way" might have been worrying... (and Ti - the answer quite certainly is yes )
Lil, may I hastily add that I am very impressed with the debonaire atmosphere and charm of the place - makes you feel very at ease once you enter.
And no, I hadn't been extensively lurking - actually, tartaronne recently expressed some thoughts about the debates here that somehow struck a chord. And with a speed of decision that is not too much like the common me, plop, here I am...
(it is also the first time, btw, I have been greeted with good news about windscreen repairs - made me check if my glasses had any scratches )

I am assuming your daughter is a teenager, Santra, because they always look at their parents 'in that way'. Usually after it dawns on them that you got up to pretty much the stuff they get up to!
Actually, No1 son still looks at me in that way at times

Happy Birthday, B4!
I read on the text TV news this morning that a city in the south of Sweden (Vetlanda) was left without electricity for several hours yesterday due to a tremendous thunderstorm. They had around 600 lightnings in one hour - can you imagine? I would have loved to experience it (from somewhere safe)!
