Finally online from home - today was just as bad as yesterday at w*rk - seems there were massive attacks against all big companies in Sweden during the last 2 days, including the Swedish government... one of the Internet security companies said they had received 160 000 reports compared with 33 on a regular day...
The reservations systems were affected, all external mails either sent or received were seriously delayed, no connection with the Internet bank - I even lost connection with the internal servers a couple of time, making it impossible for me to w*rk on anything that wasn't stored on my hard drive... Hang'em high, those virus creators!

fg, that's tough to hear. I know you loved the place. But I'm sure you'll find something cool, and I know that folks in Missoula *love* to rent to non-college students. Just avoid those horrible rental places.

Hey, Montana Redhead! That was me that borrowed some of your sleep. I came up short a while back and, thinking you wouldn't need ALL of YOURS because of your line of work, siphoned off just a wee bit. Funny thing though: I never got around to
using it, so I'll just give it back now, okay?
My apologies. I seem to have lost a tiny bit somewhere along the
line, but I can make it up to you! I'll stockpile a tidy sum of it and then give back all
of what I borrowed, plus a little extra.
How's that for a deal?

It is boring here today. There is nothing at all to do. I have handled all of my cases and closed a couple of those and have been able to take nothing at all.
the zombies could now be heard jumping up and down in the atrium.
Asteroid Lil - Offstage Presence Posted Aug 21, 2003
Just had my first press-release interview. Now to call the reporter who talked to me last year.
Sorry about the news, FG -- hope you find something better soon, before the next academic year!
the zombies invited some ghouls, some werewolves and some vampires and the tango party turned into a rave. Tatiana, picking up a glow stick from the atrium floor, decided to

Thanks for everyone's concern. I'm not in college, but the fact that the students are just returning for the school year makes things rather tight around here in terms of available properties.

Don't remind me that they're coming back! I'm trying to ignore that fact. It's so peaceful here without them.
If you have enough money for a down payment, definitely consider buying something, FG, even if it's not a great place. You get some of your costs back when you sell, even if the property values go down, but with rent you get nothing. And interest rates are great now.

I can only imagine how much of the tax payers money is being spent on the whole thing. Every thing from the monument in the first place, law enforcement, legal fee's etc.

fg, d'e has a good idea. you could do one of those first time home buyers things, maybe.

You'll do splendidly, Lil. Break a leg!
for fg. You might be lucky, too, and be able to find somewhere someone is shocked they haven;t managed to rent to college students really easily. If you see what I mean.

A long weekend here, Monday is a Bank Holiday.
As those in the UK will already be well aware, most of the major rail routes are being closed for maintenance work. We were thinking of having a day ot two out in my car, but the roads are going to be like car parks
FG, property investment is the soundest of all, in spite of prices rising and falling. If you can scrap together the funds, then go for it!
More call centre trouble here with directory enquiries no longer a BT monopoly. Operators in India and the Philippines are being swamped and many misdirected calls are being placed due to language problems. Personally I use yell.com.
