Could you pretend this is a four leafed clover Sol ?
Had a nice drive down to Standen house in Sussex. Lunched, pootled round the house and garden then headed home.
A loud crack of thunder showed that the stromwasn't over yet

Yay Happy Birthday Zeppo!
Here's a little something from Cassie and me.
It is a box of drops, I hope that is allowed?
Cassie was told by the vet that she couldn't have any more little treats as she was at the top end of the size:weight scale. Which I thought was a bit of a cheek as Cassie isn't over weight and hasn't put any on since we saw the last vet, who said she was beautiful and in good shape!
but it seemed to be

happy birthday, Zeppo, and Sol, good luck in your monumental move!
I've gotten one strip of 6 done for the quilt. It's really coming along, but I think I need to slow down!
badly mispelt!
Coniraya Posted Aug 23, 2003
Are you doing that by hand, MR, or using a machine? What pattern is it?
Quilting is something I've always liked the idea of, but I do get bored of long projects. I've had a needlepoint footstool cover on the go for about 6 years
There is a lovely shop in a neighboroughing town that specialises in quilting fabrics.
And instead of greek pastries, the salonistas were presented with...

Caer, I am sewing the pieces together on a machine (the baby's due in October), but then will handsew the quilting. The pattern is ...okay, I'll try to describe it...
8 in squares, made up of red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, violet and white triangles, in a sort of pinwheel/rotating pattern (i.e., the red is in position 1, 2, 3, etc) The backside is going to be a vivid rainbow striped brushed cotton, and then I'm going to bind the edge with rainbow satin ribbon.
Really, I promise to post a picture!

I just finished knitting a twin bed sized blanket for my younger daughter. It took me two years. I've just got to weave the ends in. I hate that part.

Hmm... Hangovers suck. The plans for the blessed event have changed three times so far today. I rather wish they would stop changing them on me...

My vet always chews me out over my Annie's diet. I nod and say unhuh then go home and do what I please. If I want to give her a treat, I will. She's healthy as a , active, happy, and would be devastated if she didn't get her scoop of ice cream before bed. She looks forward to it.
We got her when she was 14 months old, and she had been abused. So we've really spoiled her. She refuses to eat dog food, except for Milk Bone dog biscuits. She can read, so if it doesn't say Milk Bone she knows and won't eat them. She eats what we eat and is one happy pup. The vet can bite me.
I'm up to 918.54. And I'm out of room to stack anything. I'll have to wait for my cataloger to catch up.

Make that rift.
Thus, Scooby Doo was removed from the equation.

It's going well. So far, so good. I'm taking my time, piecing it together. I think it's going to look cool. I have a trademark of sorts...I always screw one thing up, mostly by accident, but occasionally on purpose. That way, whoever gets my homemade gift KNOWS I made it (I tend to screw up at least once with sewing or crocheting). I've made the booboo, so now I can't make any more.
