Do tell, Marv. What did you do with her last night?

Caerwynn,
Congrats. New cars are always fun. Any hope of a pic link to this Vauxhall Astra? I've never heard of it.
As for Courtesy's Pixel, she is very energetic, but when she tires out she seems to prefer to crawl into a lap to sleep. Last night I ended up with a cat sleeping on my back while I was laying on my stomach watching tv.

I took MR on a tour of SLC, pointing out important part of my life here and some interesting buildings and houses. We chatted quite a bit and then had dinner at a local mainstay for late night dining.

dw2, I envy you. I used to have a cat that liked to lay on my back when I was reading. I have never been able to get another cat to do that with any regularity.

I had a calico cat who liked being a lap cat. She lived to be 21. She was also the smartest cat I've ever had. and she could kick the stuffing out of all the neighborhood dogs.
It is definitely not raining here.

I do miss having cats, I like my fish of course but there don't really have much to say, at the moment the angle fish are fighting with each other. I had a minor trimuph today. Next week we have an oral exam, today one of the examiners gave us a lecutre on what to expect. He asked for a volenteer to do an mock exam in front of the entire group (50+ people), and for some reason I did volenteered. I used to get into a real stress when I was examining a patient in front of 4 people. But I managed it, I got a pass on a topic I hadn't revised with 50 people watching.
I hope this makes sense!

Belated congratulations to Phil on the job and Courtesy on the house, and welcome to dw2.
Which lets you all know approximately whereabouts in the backlog I am. Did GL say something about frontlog? I understand that reference, and am reading it too.
Not only do I still think of Zeppo as a puppy, during my most unbearable moments of Zeppo-deprivation I started calling my 20-month old niece "puppy".

Well done, Z. That must have been nerve-wracking!
Btw - your entry on New Street inspired me to do one on Heathrow. You cannot escape LHR nearly as easily, so it is a tad more cynical than yours. But I enjoyed writing it all the same. I thought I'd stopped writing entries for the Edited Guide, but it seems I was mistaken.

Thanks Ben it wasn't that bad, I managed to get on a role once I was in it.
Humm is writing entires for the edited guide becoming a problem for you? perhaps there's a 12 step programme to break the addiction.

H knows all the back routes to LHR as he used to w*rk there, although are not accessible due to security tightening.
The direct link it is hugely long for the model I'm after but www.vauxhall.co.uk is the starting point. Select 'car range' then 'Astra Convertible' then 2.2 16v.
It is typical that in 18 months time there will be a new model with a metal folding roof.
Mine will be shipped from Italy this week, arrive in the showroom at the beginning of August for me to collect a couple of days later.

That should read 'although some are not accessible' .

Very nice, Caer. But the really important question is: What color is it?
5DXth Conversation at Lil's
Coniraya Posted Jul 21, 2003
Pearlescent paint in Europa Blue (a mid blue), black top and black cloth seats (leather is too slippery)
I've been told not to name it by the menfolk

My Lucy often sits on my back when I am stretched out on my tummy on the floor or in bed. It is so comforting, having a warm purring fuzzy body curled up on top of you!
Wait. Boy, does that sentence give the wrong idea!

Ben, I liked the Heathrow article. Were you inspired by hundreds of passengers currently stranded there?
