Then a HAPPY 57 to Sig. S!
Witty, I am relieved to hear that you have never considered spray cheese to be a good thing!
Another use for spray cheese, for the deranged hooligans out there.
A friend of mine says that a number of years ago, before "silly string" was banned, (canned plastic streamers that shoot out under pressure, supposedly to increase the festive spirit?!?) someone used a can of Cheez Whiz instead, extruding it, then flinging it at passersby at a large outdoor event. I hope none got on any cars, as it would probably have peeled paint!!

I have no idea if spray cheese is available in the UK as it sounds so repulsive, I've never looked.
Happy Birthday, Sig S.

Yawn, stretch, Morning All,
Happy b'day to S, now where did I put that enthusiatic work ethic on Friday, seems to have slipped down the back of the sofa. Good.

Ugh. Monday already? At least this week is a short week for me, then I've got a week and half off. But four days to get through first
Hippo bathdy for Sig. S...
Suppose I should go and get dressed now.

Happy Birthday to Sig S
Like WA, my get-up-an-go has gone. I know there's stuff to be done today but I can't for the life of me remember what it is.
My brain seems to be complete mince at the moment and I may have to resort to carrying around a little aide memoire, a smaller and tamer version of Lil's To-do List.
At least I don;t have to wo*k today

Amy the Ant - High Manzanilla of the Church of the Stuffed Olive Posted May 22, 2006
We appear to be suffering from a collective malaise this morning. I don't have to be at w*rk until lunchtime and just can't persuade myself to get going and make use of the free morning. I ran a bath half an hour ago and still haven't managed to get in it!

Nice !
I haven't wasted my time completely this morning. I think I may have fixed my email problems so that all my usual addresses work as expected. *crosses claws*
*uncrosses claws because it is difficult to climb up ladders into the bath with your claws crossed*

Heh, I have asmiley
I have just read through the backlog and also seen how many of you have come over to FootiNooti. Great stuff. Now I just need to find some energy and mental wherewithal. We cleaned up the house last night after all the guests had left and my feet hurt so badly today. I don't think sitting at the computer is a good idea
Just wanted to say Happy Bithday to Sig S and make public the knowledge that spray cheese is one of the reasons I fled the States in 1990 and returned to live in Nodnol. Another was tornadoes oh, and the bushees
Off to soak my feet in cider vinegar

Ben - oh dear, migraine after all, what a bummer. As a very occasional sufferer of migraines, I do know exactly what you mean about hangovers. The spaced-out calm, oh-thank-Bob-it's-stopped feeling is lovely, but not quite worth the entrance fee.
It is one of those days. Cold (for May, that is), wet and gloomy. A beige cloud of futility, grumpiness, writer's block and mild insomnia has settled over my living-room and will not be budged, even with all the windows open. Even with all the windows shut and the dehumidifier on. I am about to try essential oils in the diffuser, but I don't feel sanguine. I am entering a state of Marvin.

Cheese is good. The idea of spray cheese is not. On saturday to the food fair thingy we went to there were a number of cheese makers. We got some Lancashire with mustard, very good. I also got some beer from another cheesemaker. OK they do cheese and beer (The Stafordshire Cheese company and Leek Brewery run by the same people).
Finally at work as I forgot that I was to have to visit the friendly this morning. Still it's done and I don't have to go back to the surgery till thurday for my meeting with another nice to review how the diabetes is getting along. I'll have to see if there are any freebies I can get (actually I could do with a new insulin pen if she has one spare).

Cheese Whiz is really awful. I don't know why it ever made it as a product in the forst place.
Happy b'day, Sig S. tartaronne, are you having a pafrty or special dinner or something?
Yesterday afternoon and evening was great. An old friend whom I hadn't seen in years and his wife came to visit. We had a lot of catching up to do, so it was pretty much nonstop talking. They spoiled me by bringing some really good Italian wine. The plan for dinner was to cook steak and lobster on the grill, but the live lobsters were $40 each. Which is too much to pay for something ou have to kill and cook yourself. So we went to Red Lobster instead and let them do the cooking. Spent less money and didn't have any dishes to wash.
So, now I have steaks in the fridge. My brother is here at Mother's for a few days. I'll call him in a few minutes, say the magic steak and cake words, and I'm sure he'll be here post haste.
Oh! And they brought me a large bag of fresh asparagus from their garden. So, I really do feel spoiled.

The biggest problem with my to-do list is that there are so many items that have to be done first.

Happy birthday Sig.S. Hope a nice dinner is on the agenda for today.
I had company as well yesterday--step mother-in-law, and two step-brothers-in law. We had a nice visit. We didn't have a big meal--just burgers on the grill and potato salad. We were too busy catching up to cook.
